At first view of hotel and room when booked seemed lovely but on close inspection the pillows were flat very very warm unable to breath only 1 full window but was unless a fan was in the room but due to alot of dust it didn't cool the room down Also limescale in bottom of kettle plus the milk was certainly gone off which caused my self and my grandson who is only (10 ) to feel unwell and sick Our room was located at the back of the hotel which was very untidy and crawling with rats which could have easily climbed up the metal railings that were out the back and into our room which we had to close the window just incase really disappointing. The reception has the cheek to ring my stepdaughter stating we had been smoking in the room as it smelt of cigetettes which we had not we went OUTSIDE round the back to our room Also had the nerve to say if the smell doesn't clear they will charging us a £75 penalty I'm sorry but with the rats and dirt from there we will be getting in touch with environmental health . It shouldn't be open 3star haha close it down Do not stay at this hotel !!!!!

The staff in this hotel are so welcoming. Outstanding service and friendly all round. There is in my opinion a couple of staff who should be recognised for their above and beyond service making guests feel more than welcome. Ella, Sarah, Vaz and Charmaine. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Even the bar staff must include” Steve” are happy to give you an enjoyable stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone Oh! by the way. The standard of food in this hotel is exceptionally good quality. A beautiful complimentary breakfast and menu. 24/7. Well done all.

From Hell to Heavenly The previous night we stayed at a hotel which turned out to be one of the worse hotels we have ever experienced, we were promised much and paid, on arrival we were given a ‘SHED’, enough was enough and unable to shower, so we needed a hotel for myself and my wife and a dear elderly lady we were about to collect on the same day 11th from Heathrow. 11th September, I called a few hotels and spoke to a very helpful gentleman at the Wendover Arms Hotel, explained we needed two rooms. The rooms wouldn’t be ready until 15.00hrs, but the kind gentleman and wish I could remember his name, oh and he served us behind the bar that evening, he asked his staff to et our room cleaned for 13.00hrs s o we could get a shower, changed and set off to collect our friend. On arrival, we were greeted by this gentleman, we collected our keys, we got to our rooms, ground floor by the side exit, ok the room was a little smaller than other hotels we stayed at, but it was clean, totally different from the hole we stayed the previous night at. Showered, changed and out to headed to Heathrow. We later arrived back at the hotel, freshened up and decided we eat at the hotel that evening. The food was excellent, unfortunately they don’t do breakfasts, but the evening meals are superb, Caribbean, Jamaican, cannot quite remember the style, but tasty and plentiful and at a good price. We all slept well, we were allowed to be later to depart due to the elderly lady, and we will for sure book this hotel again. Sam B.

Stayed for a night on business and can’t fault anything really. Location is ideal for where I was going. Check in and out staff were excellent, the waitress was lovely in the evening and only poor staff were those behind the bar. Room was pretty small but it’s just me and it was very clean so couldn’t fault it. I’ll definitely stay again if I need to.

The location of the hotel is very good, there are two big supermarkets, two big shopping malls, and a pedestrian street within 200 meters, which is very convenient for shopping and eating. The hotel is very new, with central air-conditioning (rarely available in the UK) and elevator, and breakfast is good. There is a double bed and a single bed in the room, suitable for two large and one small.

Very small room for a family of 4. 2 night stay with no more than a meter down the end of the beds to the dressing table. Wifi was painfully slow, paid £5 for 24 hours to ultimate which was not really any better so we didn't bother buying it again the following day. The bin in the bathroom wasn't emptied and had multiple dirty tissues and empty milk capsules in. No ive been cleaned seal on the toilet, it made us doubt the cleanleness of the room. The extractor fan in the bathroom did not work and the room filled with condensation, after all the family showering, this was very bad and we couldn't use the mirrors to get ready. Husband took the front off the extractor and it was thick with dust! We tried to remove the dust to see if it would work better. This did not help and extractor still didn't work. The room was cold and damp and we didnt sleep well. Such a shame that it was not up to premier inns usual standards. Which i have always found good value without compromise on cleanleness. This was room 306 The only good thing about our stay was the amazing food for breakfast in the independent onsite brewers fayer. Lovely staff and very well managed
