"This was by far the worst experience I have ever had before even making a booking. The staff at Mastiff Hotel, Hinjewadi initially committed verbally to specific booking terms. However, when we politely requested that the same terms be shared in writing before paying the advance, their attitude completely changed. Instead of honoring their own commitments or providing written confirmation (which is a basic and reasonable request), the staff became arrogant, dismissive and uncooperative. They suddenly changed their statements, contradicted what was earlier promised and tried to pressure us into paying the full advance of booking amount without documentation. This behavior raises serious concerns about transparency, professionalism and trustworthiness. If a hotel is unwilling to put agreed terms in writing before taking money, it clearly shows a lack of ethical business practices. Thankfully, we did not proceed with the booking. Based on this experience, I would strongly advise others to be extremely cautious and ensure everything is documented before making any payment to this property."
