Guesthouse Akicafe Inn

The staff here were super lovely and helped me with any questions I had. The room was clean and the bed was super comfortable! The toilets and showers were always clean. It was located only a 5 minute walk from Hiroshima Station, which was very convenient. Overall I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Hiroshima.

So first thing i would like to say is staff was very nice. Helped me to find good local restaurants. Great location !!! Facilities are clean and enough for take a good sleep. Maybe room may be a little bit crowded for that many people. If someone open suitcase it’ll be hard to walk.

The place is really clean and easy to check in, the host shows way around the stay. Bed feels super cozy and comfortable. The amenities are clean. I book this place for an overnight stay in hiroshima

It was my first hostel in life. I stayed here for three nights. Everything's clean, beds are comfy. I slept very well, there was no disturbing noise at all. If I visit Hiroshima, I will definitely stay here again

Overall had a good experience. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and luggage storage was solid. By far the best commons room I’ve seen in a hostel across Japan, where everyone was very social and friendly. One of the best places to meet fellow solo travellers. Bottom bunk had great storage underneath the bed but limited headroom. Also have to pay for amenities, which many other hostels provide for free. While cheap, the principle bothered me.

Close to the station. Good boxes (capsule style) with 2 outlets. Comfortable to sleep after long day. Wasn't too noisy at night. So, I got exactly what I wanted from a one night place - a bed, a shower, an outlets to charge stuff. Two notices: no elevator / towels are for additional price. I ain't got confused, but someone might (you might not need to bring your luggage with you and just left it in guest area)

Would recommend, clean rooms and friendly staff. Unfortunately it was very expensive during silver week but is what it is!

Definitely the best hostel I stayed at during my 2-week trip to Japan! The mattress is firm and comfortable (unlike many hostels in Japan that use futon-style bedding), so I slept very well. The soundproofing is good, and the location is convenient, with the train station nearby. Highly recommended! There’s also a small local eatery less than a 5-minute walk away where I enjoyed a delicious home-cooked meal for only 500 yen - such a great find!

The experience was nice, but there were other customers who didn't respected the rules like they put an alarm at 5a.m and let it rang for 10minutes
