YYushanfengheThis hotel is incredibly comfortable! Each room has its own unique theme. The bath towels and hand towels smell lovely, and the toiletries are all high-end. Since I arrived in the early hours, the front desk attendant even specially made me a red date tea to soothe my throat. The noodles for breakfast were delicious too! The smart mattress was exceptionally comfortable, and I slept really well. They also provided a sleep-inducing fragrance, which smelled wonderful! The whole room smells amazing! I'll definitely be back.

GGuest UserThe location is super convenient! It's just a few steps from the Nanjing West Road exit of Metro Line 2, making it easy to reach the Bund, Pudong, Hongqiao Station, and Shanghai Station by subway. If you're doing a US visa application, the visa office at Meilong Town Square is a quick 5-8 minute walk away, and I successfully got my visa there. There are tons of food options and attractions nearby. Wujiang Road Food Street and Zhangyuan are right downstairs, and Nanjing West Road and Maoming Road also boast a huge variety of dining spots. You can take a leisurely 300-meter stroll to see the 'LV Big Ship,' and there are plenty of high-end luxury stores around, which is always nice to see. The hotel rooms are spacious. I was given a balcony room on the top floor, and it was lovely to enjoy a cup of tea on the balcony while admiring the food street and surrounding views. The room has a long leather sofa, so if you're traveling with kids, one room should be perfectly fine. The lighting, curtains, and toilet are all smart-controlled, and the Bluetooth speaker even had foreign language programs on the FM radio! The front desk staff were very friendly and attentive. They managed to get me a room at 10:30 AM and even upgraded my king-size bed room to a balcony room right next door, which was incredibly helpful. There's coffee and fruit available next to the front desk, which added a very welcoming touch. I'll definitely be coming back to stay here on my next trip to Shanghai!

JJULIA DUStaying at the Oriental Qiancang, a part of Atour's Blossom House Lujiazui, was truly the most delightful surprise of my Shanghai trip! It's steeped in a timeless charm; every photo you snap turns into a vintage masterpiece, making you feel as if you've stepped back into the glamorous days of old Shanghai. The staff's service was incredibly thoughtful and detail-oriented. They proactively helped with luggage, offered a handwritten welcome card paired with a fresh fruit platter, provided a welcome tea upon check-in, and even delivered warm desserts late at night. They were always responsive and incredibly warm throughout my stay. The rooms beautifully preserve the elegance of an old mansion while being fully equipped with modern comforts like smart toilets and plush bedding. The soundproofing is excellent, and some rooms even offer a distant view of the Lujiazui 'three-piece suite' (iconic skyscrapers) – the blend of old and new is simply wonderful. Plus, the minibar drinks are complimentary. The yellow croaker noodles for breakfast were absolutely divine, with a rich broth and boneless fish; the Taizhou-style dishes were also incredibly impressive. The hotel also offers free experiential activities like seal carving and handmade candle making, and the underground vault bar and courtyard tea room have an amazing ambiance. It truly offers a peaceful, private retreat amidst the bustling city. It's just a short walk to the subway station, making it super convenient to get to The Bund and Lujiazui. I can't stop thinking about this place; I'll definitely choose it again on my next visit to Shanghai!

YYidexianI booked a deluxe panoramic room. At 42 square meters, the room size was just right, and the 2.4-meter king-size bed was incredibly comfortable. I love rooms with carpet; it feels great underfoot. The mini-bar was well-stocked with drinks and snacks, and the room came with a capsule coffee machine and Twinings tea bags. The bathroom had two sinks, so my daughter and I didn't have to fight for space when getting ready. There was also a large, round bathtub big enough for two. The amenities were top-notch, truly befitting an established five-star hotel. A special mention goes to the Executive Lounge on the 15th floor. The view was fantastic, overlooking villa gardens nearby and tree-lined streets with梧桐 trees in the distance – very pleasing and relaxing. The lounge offered breakfast, afternoon tea, and a light dinner. The coffee was good, and the pastries were especially delicious, rich yet not greasy. Ms. Dingding from the lounge provided exceptional service; she was friendly and attentive. She even patiently shared the hotel's history and suggested walking routes nearby, making us feel right at home. It was a wonderful stay, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Shanghai.

AAnonymous UserCompletely exceeded expectations! Two days before my arrival, the hotel staff proactively reached out. The culture and tourism butler, Ethan, was incredibly detailed and thoughtful in his preparations, even going as far as to ask if my stay was for an anniversary or birthday – that really surprised me. Learning that my birthday was approaching, he specially arranged a small, tasteful decoration. It wasn't overly fancy or gimmicky, just simple and cozy. The check-in process was also very comfortable. A kind lady from the library promptly brought warm tea and snacks, and Ethan personally guided me through, soothing any first-time jitters. I had read reviews about having to go up and down stairs and was worried my mother might find it inconvenient, but after experiencing it, I found the room layout to be very sensible. It was far better than the previous hotel, where I could get lost without even climbing stairs. Upon entering, the subtle aroma was pleasant, and the entire space was bright and clean. The pavilion room was converted into an audiovisual room, the minibar was well-stocked, and when I turned on the TV with the White Rabbit comic series, my mom immediately fell in love. Breakfast was à la carte, with perfect portions and fresh, delicious food. The pre-meal croissant was incredibly crispy. Returning to the room, there was another surprise! Besides the small cake on the first day, there was a proper cake on the second – they are truly so enthusiastic! All the staff members were smiling, friendly, diligent, and responded very quickly. Ethan, especially, replied to messages in seconds. I've experienced other culturally themed hotels converted from old buildings in different cities before, but none have impressed us as much as this one. That evening, my mom immediately decided to change our flights and return here for an extra night after our remaining itinerary. If we didn't have other plans, we would have extended our stay directly. Overall, the value for money is incredibly high. We had a wonderful and unforgettable night here, and we will undoubtedly choose this place again on our next visit to Shanghai!

GGuest UserThe building boasts an excellent location, offering a fantastic view of the Huangpu River at night. You can see the Oriental Pearl TV Tower and the 'Pudong Three-Piece Suit' (Jin Mao Tower, Shanghai World Financial Center, and Shanghai Tower) clearly. This building was once a landmark in Shanghai and is now experiencing a new youth. The breakfast selection is rich, and the lobby staff are attentive and hospitable.

MM517323****This was such a beautiful serviced apartment, lovingly restored to Shanghai heydays of art deco. You can tell that a lot of care was put into the selection of fittings and furnishing. The service was prompt and unintrusive. We were a family of 4 and we occupied the 2 bedroom apartment which was very spacious and well appointed. The location is unbeatable both for leisure and business stay. A special place

GGuest UserThis is arguably Shanghai's most iconic hotel, a true landmark of the city, and definitely worth staying at. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, and the front desk and bellhop staff provide excellent service, truly reflecting the grandeur of a long-established luxury hotel. The front desk even upgraded me to a deluxe king room for free, offering beautiful views from the window. The location is superb; it's close to Nanjing Road, the Shanghai Museum, the Shanghai History Museum, and Xintiandi. Just across the street is People's Park, formerly the racecourse, and there are several subway entrances nearby, making transportation incredibly convenient. As a guest, you can purchase butterfly pastry gift boxes without waiting in line, and they'll even deliver them to your room. Seeing the long queues outside in the rain for these pastries really made me appreciate the value of staying here even more. I'd also recommend Xindexiang Urban Canteen behind the hotel for its great value and delicious food. My only suggestion for the hotel would be to diversify their pastry selection; six packs of butterfly pastries in one gift box is a bit much. It would be better to offer a mix of other pastries. The historical exhibition hall on the hotel's second floor is also worth a visit.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is incredibly convenient, right across from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music. Stepping out, you're immediately on a beautiful street perfect for a city walk, and it's also very close to the subway station. The hotel itself is nestled in a quiet and lovely little garden. The service and cleanliness are quite good; the only drawback is that the facilities are a bit old. However, this doesn't detract from its great value for money. I'd definitely choose to stay here again.
