The Odys Boutique Hotel

I was having trouble calling a Grab, and the Japanese-speaking front desk staff helped me out. They also told me that it's cheaper to book through the hotel. The breakfast and afternoon tea were delicious, and the mini-bar in the room was free. All the staff were very kind.

Pay attention to the room type. The hotel has rooms WITHOUT WINDOWS! We booked a room with a window: it was small, with no armchair or luggage rack (fine for 3 days, but you'd need something bigger for a longer stay). Breakfast was modest but edible (scrambled eggs and two types of soup available for order). The hotel is in a convenient location – not far from the center, but quiet. There's a small fitness room with inexpensive equipment (no windows, a very strong rubber smell; after 15 minutes of working out, I started to get a headache and feel nauseous). Overall, the hotel is decent, and the staff is excellent.

The breakfast was excellent and delicious, but the room and bathroom were a bit small. They offer free afternoon tea, but we arrived too late to enjoy it, and we had an early flight the next morning so we couldn't make it either. The lobby is beautiful though.

Hello! We stayed in Ho Chi Minh City in early August 2026. We booked this hotel in advance and didn't regret it! We even returned for another night on our way back, which is the best review of our stay! The design, furniture, and interior items are all in my favorite colonial (I assume) style, which gives the hotel an authentic feel! The breakfasts are also worth mentioning positively; there's a buffet selection, and you can order several additional dishes from the menu (traditional soup, eggs Benedict on toast, pancakes)! You can have breakfast either inside or on the veranda. The restaurant is located on the 10th floor and offers a great view! The restaurant also operates à la carte. In the evening, you can truly enjoy dishes in a pleasant atmosphere with a beautiful view of the city lights! The à la carte prices at the restaurant are somewhat higher than average, but standard for restaurants with a similar ambiance. The dishes are interesting. The hotel staff is pleasant, very responsive, and ready to help at any moment! Our interactions with the hotel staff were very comfortable. Thank you again! The location is also excellent – not on a busy road, yet close to attractions, activities, and cafes. We walked to the main shopping centers! We definitely recommend this hotel! And perhaps we'll even return to stay there ourselves someday!
