Sky Gem Hotel - Ben Thanh

Location and ease of access , pool was nice for a quick cool of too

Overall a good hotel to stay in Ho Chi Minh.Friendly and responsive front desk staffs.

Stayed here with my friends and we love getting around from the hotel to all the tourist attractions, the breakfast is great and gym and pool are my favourite

Location was perfect. Service was good too. Booked the spacious room 40sq m. Breakfast was also good. Will stay here again in the future!

- Coming back to Vietnam after years away, staying near Ben Thanh Market brought back so many memories. The hotel staff treat you like family always asking about your day and ensuring you are comfortable. The room had all the modern comforts I expected, like a fantastic rainfall shower and great soundproofing from the street below. -The breakfast restaurant area was fairly spacious. However, during my stay there was a large group of Chinese guests, so we had to wait around 10 minutes before a table became available.

To find a hotel this clean and modern right next to Ben Thanh Market at this price point is amazing. The breakfast buffet had a decent spread of local noodles, fresh fruits, and eggs made to order. The bell-man was so nice, always helping us stop traffic so we could cross the street safely. Our room was a Deluxe category, so it didn't have a city-facing view just a window looking out to the back of the building. But honestly, for the price we paid, we didn't mind at all.

Staying on Dong Du street usually costs a fortune because you're surrounded by 5-star international hotels, but Sky Gem Central offers amazing value. You get the exact same prime location for a fraction of the price. The staff treat you like a V.I.P, the rooms are tidy, and having breakfast included makes it an unbeatable deal. The elevator is a bit cozy. If you are traveling with a lot of luggage or a large group, you might need to take separate trips, but it moves quickly enough.

Cozy romantic base in the middle of everything We loved our stay here. The bed was exceptionally comfortable with plush pillows perfect for collapsing into after walking 15,000 steps around the city. The room design is modern and very clean. Being based in the Ben Thanh area meant we could easily walk to the Independence Place and Fine Arts Museum without needing a taxi. The bathroom mirror lighting was a bit too soft/warm, which made it slightly tricky for my girlfriend to do her makeup in the morning. A brighter vanity light would be a great addition.
