M Hotel Saigon

The location is excellent, right next to Takashimaya, so all your needs for dining, shopping, accommodation, and entertainment are met. You just cross the road to get back to the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel; it's clean, spacious, and offers great value for money.

I was thoroughly disappointed with my stay at M Saigon Hotel. I booked three rooms for three consecutive nights, one of which was at a higher price. However, upon checking in, I found that this higher-priced room was identical in size and layout to the other two lower-priced rooms. The hotel explained that the only difference was a larger window, but it faced numerous air conditioning compressors and kitchen exhaust vents – a view that certainly didn't justify the extra cost. After I raised my concerns, the staff suggested moving me to a higher-floor room, but there was no follow-up. I had to proactively remind them twice before manager Thomas finally offered to move me on my last night. Moving rooms on the night before checkout wouldn't solve anything; in fact, it would have meant repacking and moving my luggage, creating more inconvenience, so I declined. Yet, Manager Thomas repeatedly insisted that I move. What disappointed me most was the manager's handling of the issue and the overall experience. My room, along with others, was right next to the elevator and other guest rooms, leading to constant noise throughout my stay, which severely disrupted my rest. Additionally, the hotel is directly opposite several seedy bars, making the surrounding environment far from ideal. There are many better hotel options nearby, so I will not choose to stay at this hotel again.

This hotel is too nice to be just for sleeping! It has a minimalist and stylish vibe. The only downside was a noticeable stain on the sheer curtain (like something had splashed and dried). As a Japanese person, I was especially grateful for the bathtub and bath salts.

This hotel is really good, with a fantastic location. At the time, the price might have been a bit high compared to the cost of living in the country. How should I put it? The hotel is great, but just a little pricey.

The hygiene was very good. For a room that cost nearly 800 (RMB), the gym only had one treadmill and one squat rack. It was very noisy downstairs, and the lobby was very basic. Only the doorman was smiling; the other staff members were all very cold. The breakfast was mediocre, and perhaps because it was peak season, I felt it offered no value for money. Oh, and definitely don't smoke in the hotel. I smoked two cigarettes and they really showed no mercy, they actually fined me!

Right in the city center, super close to the famous Coffee House, and within walking distance to everything – it's a really lively area. The hotel's decor is very modern, and the facilities are brand new. The staff are always smiling too, which is great!
