I had a great stay at Thanh Long Hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Ho Chi Minh City.
The hotel has 8 floors, and I stayed on the 4th floor. My room was very clean, modern, and comfortable—perfect for a solo traveler.
One of the best things about this hotel is the location. It’s only about a 10-minute ride from Tan Son Nhat International Airport, so it feels like you’re staying just across from the airport. I took an Uber from the airport, and it was quick, convenient, and inexpensive.
The reception staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay, making the check-in process smooth and pleasant.
Breakfast is served upstairs, and if you stay here, don’t miss the pho! It was fresh, flavorful, and one of the best breakfasts I had during my trip.
The room rate is around AUD $70–100 per night, which offers excellent value for a clean and comfortable stay.
Although the hotel isn’t in the city center, it’s still easy to reach all the major attractions. Most places are only a short Grab ride away, usually costing around THB 60–80 (approximately 45,000–60,000 VND). Food delivery is also incredibly affordable—meals on Grab can cost as little as THB 20–30, and drinks are generally THB 20–100, making Ho Chi Minh City a very budget-friendly destination.
I also felt safe staying here as a solo traveler. The area was quiet, and I had no concerns walking around during the day. The only minor downside was that I could occasionally hear some unusual noises at night, likely from nearby traffic or other guests, but it wasn’t loud enough to seriously affect my sleep.
Overall, if you’re looking for a clean, safe hotel with friendly staff, delicious breakfast, great value, and a convenient location near the airport, Thanh Long Hotel is an excellent choice. I would definitely stay here again.
