1. I stayed for three days and requested room cleaning, but the front desk directly replied, "no clean." 2. The towels were so dirty they were unusable, with visible stains. (See picture) 3. The window had no handle, and rainwater leaked in when it rained. (See picture) 4. The door key was very difficult to remove; it took a long time every single time. 5. The safe didn't have an initial password, and even after someone came to fix it, it still wasn't resolved. Overall, it was a very bad experience.

The hotel feels quite old, and I encountered cockroaches and ants. However, it was relatively cheap, which is why I chose to stay. On the day of check-in, I asked if they offered laundry service, and they confirmed they did but didn't know the price, stating it depended on the weight of the clothes. I've been in Vietnam for half a month, and at other hotels, laundry usually costs around 30,000-50,000 VND. So, I assumed it would be similar. To my surprise, today, after the laundry was done, they told me it would be 150,000 VND. They even showed me some 'document' to justify it. This is clearly a rip-off. My attempts to communicate were futile, and they told me I could post about it online. So here it is; everyone, please consider this before you book.

Hello Trip.com Support, I am requesting a full refund for my booking at The Noble Swan Central Dong Du Hotel (Jan 7–8). The room I booked was shown with a window (facing an emergency stairway). However, upon arrival, the hotel told me my booked room was sold to another guest and offered a totally different room that was completely windowless, very small, and had no ventilation. This was not the room I booked nor an equivalent. I refused the room, did not stay, and the hotel told me to contact Trip.com for cancellation. I had to book another hotel immediately. My cancellation request now shows “Property failed to respond.” Since I did not use the room at all and the hotel failed to provide the booked room, I kindly request a full refund (USD 21.26) to my original payment method. The room is not clean and has poor service. The upper floor is making noise at 1:30 am and when I told the staff to take some action to reduce noise but no action and neglected me. I booked a 3 night stay, but can't sleep well for two days.

Filthy and dismal, like those cheap hostels you find in rural towns for 30 yuan a night 😂. It looks absolutely nothing like the pictures. I'm someone who can totally handle staying in youth hostels, but I couldn't stand this hotel... The mattress was a bare, yellow foam pad... though it was surprisingly okay to lie on? There was a wooden chair, like the kind that comes with primary school desks, but it was moldy. Everything inside felt like it had been preserved from the 1980s. Before 8 AM, the downstairs area started rumbling with renovation noise (which, honestly, was the least of its problems). However, the location was decent, and all the tourist spots were nearby.

Despite having arranged for payment on site, they falsely claimed Trip would issue the receipt. When we proved this was untrue, the receptionist then stated that although Trip's statement showed the amount inclusive of VAT, issuing a receipt would require an additional 10% VAT. They explained that Trip's VAT represents Trip's profit, but this is the first time I've encountered such an absurd response. Despite stating credit card payments were possible, they claimed they didn't know how to use them and therefore it was unavailable. Ultimately, they told us to cancel, but as we'd paid a deposit via Trip when booking, we risked having to pay cancellation fees to the hotel. This is the first time I've encountered such an incompetently run hotel. For personal use it's fine, but if you require a receipt for local payment, this is a hotel you absolutely should avoid. If you wish to observe individuals of low intellectual capacity, it's worth visiting – it's like watching a comedy theatre full of excuses.

I was assigned a room on the 7th floor. The room itself was average, but the view was decent. The hot water pressure was very low, making it impossible to take a shower.

Good location. Couldn't get TV to operate. Complicated. Bath/shower awkward to use . No bath plug. Staff very helpful. Good value

We loved the location—right in the heart of the city but tucked away enough to be quiet at night. The staff gave great recommendations for local food spots we wouldn’t have found on our own. This room had a nice view of the city center and nearby river.

The location and budget for this hotel was all I needed. I had worked in HCMC before and knew the location well.

Calling this hotel a scam wouldn't be an overstatement. Upon checking in, within five minutes, a staff member knocked on my door, informing me that checking in before 2 PM would incur an additional 50% room charge. I was absolutely furious. But I was exhausted and just wanted to catch some sleep, so I reluctantly paid the extortionate fee. After waking up and grabbing a bite to eat, when I returned to the front desk, they claimed they had undercharged me and demanded *another* 50% of the room rate! That was the last straw; I completely lost my temper. I'll be asking our major travel platform, Ctrip, to step in and handle this. This is a predatory establishment. Fellow travelers, do NOT fall for their tricks! All the staff appear innocent and harmless on the surface, but they're actually just waiting to fleece you.

Used to stay 1 night only. The floor is really dirry amd dusty 😢😢 the door lock is torn. Not recommend for solo women traveller

Cleanliness and service severely lacking. Having stayed at another of the 'Golden Swan' hotels in Ho Chi Minh City and had a good experience, I was very disappointed with this hotel. If it is true that the hotel was renovated recently, it certainly has not been cleaned since. Front-desk service was also very lacking, I'm not sure I saw a staff member stood at the desk throughout my whole stay.
