The biggest plus for this hotel is its excellent location, and they offer free pickup for day tours, which is super convenient. It's great value for money, much cheaper than staying in Sydney. The front desk staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room had a small balcony with a French vibe, overlooking distant mountains and nearby villas – the view was fantastic, especially beautiful in the mornings and evenings. We had dinner at the hotel one night, and it was delicious. They offer an 8 AUD voucher if you decline housekeeping, which can only be used at the restaurant in the evening. The best part is you can split and combine vouchers, which is a nice bonus.

The hotel was clean and tidy, and the price was affordable. The laundry room costs AUD 10 per wash, but they provide laundry detergent. It's conveniently located, making it easy to get to the city center, and the bus stop is right nearby. There are also many great and reasonably priced food options in the area.

The room was much better than I expected! I thought it would be old-fashioned, but it was actually really nice! Plus, it had a small balcony, and the heating in the room was excellent, so no worries about being cold in winter. The only minor things were that you need to bring your own toiletries, and the complimentary bottled water wasn't replenished daily, only provided on the first day, and subsequent bottles were chargeable, which I found a bit odd. Overall, the stay was good. However, if you take the Skybus to the city stop, it's still about a 10-15 minute walk from there.
