The hotel environment is excellent, and we received a free room upgrade. The front desk service was fantastic – the staff were friendly, efficient, and even helped us get a refund for the price difference. Overall, it was a superb stay.

I had a truly excellent stay at Fumengjia Hotel in Hohhot. Right after I made my reservation, the hotel responded very quickly through Trip.com messages and had my booked room fully prepared in advance. The original room was facing the sun, but since I have a sunlight allergy, I requested a room change the next day. The staff responded immediately and arranged the change without any delay, which I really appreciated. Every day when I returned from outside, my room had been fully serviced and perfectly cleaned. This is exactly how a hotel should operate. One evening, I wanted to order food delivery but didn’t have a Chinese phone number. I asked the reception for help, and they kindly assisted me without hesitation. Their friendliness made a big difference. Overall, I am extremely happy with my stay and would highly recommend this hotel to everyone. The room is very comfortable, and the bed is exceptionally cozy—I slept very well throughout my stay. Every time I entered the room, the curtains opened automatically and the AI voice assistant greeted me, which felt modern and welcoming. This is a truly outstanding hotel. Special thanks to …… (name to be added), the manager, whose professionalism and care made my stay even better. But after we leave the hotel, my Victorinox multifunctional pocket knife was stolen from my suitcase. Maybe that was my fault, because I didn’t locked my suitcase.

I stayed here in the summer, and there was a tall front desk attendant whose attitude was just awful. She was really grumpy during check-in. I felt like she was annoyed. When I asked for the Wi-Fi password, she irritably snapped, 'Didn't I just tell you?' So, I guess if I don't remember it, I'm not allowed to ask again, right? Then I asked where the elevator was, and she just impatiently said, 'Go inside.' What kind of attitude is that? One-star review.

Location was great for those who are going to Affiliated hospital, right across the road.  AC wasn’t working it was really hot.

It was very dirty, cigarette smoke everywhere, especially at night. The receptionists were kind but cleaning was extremely inadequate.

Had lingering cigarette smell from the room. The toilet is see through was bit weird. Buffet Breakfast was almost finish when we arrived
