Kikis Court Resort

Spent two nights in the 2nd-tier (from the least expensive) room. This place was clean and felt pretty safe (with someone always at reception). Service was OK; but less than what I'd expect at a better hotel. Value was not high: examples: there was a kettle provided but now coffee in the room; towel was worn and stiff.

A noisy hotel, more of a club, and not a place to sleep. It's right next to the noisy street, but you can hardly hear the traffic. Because directly opposite the rooms is the brightly colored restaurant/bar, from where Afro beats and hip hop blares non-stop from numerous speakers, even when there are hardly any guests there. But the staff like it. Most of the guests here are locals and come to party. The rooms are incredibly loud. There are also rooms at the back, but according to reception there is a real disco behind it, so they advise me against it. I complain several times, they say the music is turned off at 8 p.m. In fact, it just gets a little quieter and shortly afterwards it is even louder. After complaining several times to reception, the music is turned off at 10 p.m. There are no guests there anyway. Dinner and breakfast in the restaurant are really bad, but it is so loud that you can't hear anything. The small room is also mediocre. No WiFi, but reception brings me a router and then it works. The refrigerator is broken, the shower head is broken, and the shower itself is cold.

we booked to stay for a funerial 20th - 22nd Oct., in one of the villages around. we were not expecting such wonderful service but our expectations were met to the maximum. we were given fresh coconut at breakfast. wow! The Manager Bright and his staffs were excellent and a true leader. I will recommend Kikis Court any time, any day.
