Initially, I really wanted to give this a 0-star review. I chose this hotel because of its great reviews, overlooking many other good value-for-money options. However, upon arrival, I found it quite average. The hotel felt desolate, there was no elevator, and I couldn't understand Vietnamese, which left me feeling quite lost. There was no luggage service, and I was on the top floor (4th floor). The stairs had many turns, making it very inconvenient for a female traveler, especially since I'm often out and about and need to go in and out frequently. After a day of walking around the old town, having to climb all those stairs to get back to my room to rest was exhausting. Plus, the hotel doesn't offer breakfast. Even Grab deliveries couldn't come up to the room; I had to go downstairs to pick them up. The standard double room didn't even have a table or chairs, so I had nowhere to eat. I clearly misread the room type; otherwise, I would never have chosen this windowless, top-floor room. I should have booked another larger room; I really didn't look closely, and the hotel was fully booked that day, so I couldn't change.
Then, in the morning, the water pressure suddenly became very low, making it difficult even to brush my teeth. Luckily, I wasn't showering at the time, or I wouldn't have been able to wash at all.
However, I do want to thank the front desk girl in the morning. Her smile was very sweet, she helped me get a taxi to the airport, offered me a bicycle and a traditional Vietnamese hat, and she provided excellent answers to the issues I brought up. This significantly reduced my unpleasant experience. She is truly a great employee, and her boss should definitely give her a raise, haha.
Overall, some small things during my stay made me quite unhappy ☹️. I definitely do not recommend this hotel.
