Gorgeous property, but the real highlight for us was the service. Victor was so helpful and so lovely to talk with. His restaurant recommendations were both excellent and when we wanted to rent bikes he made them appear within a few minutes. He also made a wonderful breakfast each morning, served in the lovely courtyard area. Be warned: if you're planning to get work done over the Internet, this whole island isn't the place for you. The power goes out often and the Internet isn't reliable. Bringing a headlamp/flashlight is an excellent idea. If you want to relax and enjoy the beach, you will love this place!

I booked my stay on ******* using the the pay at check-in option. When I arrived Victor charged me a premium to use my card. This isnt disclosed in their listing. The TV or hair dryer didnt work. Breakfast is the same each day and is sparse. It was strange that they hold your drivers license to borrow a beach towel. The beds and pillows are ancent and uncomfortable. They do supply drinking water.

The property was really beautiful and our host Victor was full of great recommendations. He also made a delicious breakfast every morning. Highly recommend.

Small charming hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast included every day. Only downside was Holbox is an island with no paved streets, just sand. When it rains it gets very flooded. The hotel could use pavers leading to the rooms to help keep sand out. There were areas to rinse your feet, but were immediately covered in sand again so you were dragging it inside your room, bed, etc,

Amazing place! So happy we chose to stay here. Sure there are beachfront hotels, but this place is warm and friendly. Feels like staying with family. If you want to experience the beachfront hotels, grab a day pass and you have the best of both worlds. There are only 6 rooms so it is a very personal experience. Our room was great- super roomy and great balcony overlooking the pool. The pool is perfect for a dip after being at the beach and in the sun. The best thing here is the staff. They made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Our son especially loved them. Food was great and is a real advantage. Food on Holbox is expensive and to have breakfast and dinners covered is awesome. We’re not even vegan or vegetarian! Thank you for your care of our family. We are so happy to recommend you to anyone looking for a family friendly and unique place to stay.

We loved our stay in Arte Sano, the staff was super friendly, the location perfect, minutes away from the nicest spot on the beach and far enough from the loud bars of the town centre - a little oasis in this stunning island. Not being vegan originally we were curious to see what the meals could offer and were delighted by the delicious dishes cooked the entire week - our daughter is now requesting that we become vegan. Totally recommend

Excellent experience!!! First of all the staff are amazing, especially Victor, thank you for your kind hosting and care during our stay, the kids loved you! Really cute, intimate, well maintained, beautiful environment with gorgeous plants growing all around the property. The pool was clean and kids had a blast while my wife and I chilled in the hammocks. The food was incredible, again Victor thanks for your amazing cooking as well. We are not vegan or vegetarian and we never felt like we were craving anything else as food was so good. Even the kids really enjoyed the food. Location is set back about a block from really nice area of the beach which is only a minute or two walking so no issues at all. Close to everything so could walk everywhere. Rooms are good size, very cute, have everything you need including small kitchenette area with coffee maker, and are kept clean. Staff and owners very kind and attentive to all of our needs. Stayed at another hotel last year on Holbox and this was a way better experience, it felt like home. Other hotel guests were very kind, respectful, and we made some great new friends. Thanks to Arte Sano for a great experience! We can’t say enough about this place! A+++++++++

Beautiful, quiet, clean, cozy place with friendly staff. Looks better live than in the photos:) Our room was spacious and comfortable. Nice shower with hot water. Excellent location, almost at the beach and walking distance to everywhere. Worth your money! Would highly recommend to stay here if you visit Holbox!

We stayed here for 3 nights--2 rooms for my wife and I and our boys. It is quiet, relaxed, and close to the beach. Far enough from downtown to be quiet but close enough to walk to everything you need. The breakfast and dinner provided was tasty and healthy. The plunge pool was refreshing to cool off after a hot day. Nothing fancy, but a good base to explore the island.

Big and spacious living area with a separate bedroom, great with a refrigerator and coffee maker! Location was absolutely fantastic, so close to the beach and just a short walk to downtown. We loved that breakfast and dinner was included in the price, you get a lot for your money here. The best part about the hotel though was the amazing owners, the chef and staff which made this place feel so welcoming and homely.

Apart-hotel very well located near the beach. A little dated, deserves renovation. But the bad experience is that cash was stolen from us there. The safe is keyed and not coded. Despite the intervention of the police and the statements made, we were, of course, unable to prove anything. We therefore remain with a bad impression of dishonesty from the staff.

The hotel is nice, it has a good location, the staff is very friendly. Breakfast is good, the pancakes delicious. It seems expensive to me compared to what it is. It needs some maintenance because water was leaking out from under the faucet in the sink. The mat they place for the bathroom could be made of another material suitable for the area and that could dry easily since it does not have any ventilation. The pool is very, very small, it could as well be a bathtub. However, we had a great time, it's just that for that price I would go to a better place than there is at that price, I took on the task of investigating

Excellent place to stay, it has all the services and Víctor is very friendly and attentive. Access to the beach is almost immediate, very good location. The included breakfast is not very varied but very rich.
