We stayed at the Days Inn Telford Ironbridge for a quick overnight stop on a road trip, and overall, I was pleasantly surprised. The location is perfect—just off the M54 at a service area, which made it really convenient without needing to go into town. Despite being near the motorway, the room was surprisingly quiet and I had no trouble sleeping.
The room itself was clean and well-kept, with all the basics I needed for a short stay—comfortable bed, TV, free Wi-Fi, and a kettle for tea/coffee. It’s not luxury, but for the price, it delivers solid value. The staff at check-in were friendly and efficient, even though I arrived a bit late in the evening.
There’s no restaurant in the hotel itself, but being attached to the service station meant I had access to a few food options, which was handy. Also, it’s just a short drive to Telford town centre or Ironbridge Gorge if you’re staying longer and want to explore the area.
Overall, it’s a no-frills stay, but it’s exactly what I needed—clean, convenient, and comfortable. Would definitely stay again if passing through the area.
