Lori was a fantastic host. Great location with view of Homer. Well positioned for key attractions. Comfortable room with a lovely fresh breakfast with locally sourced produce. Excellent facilities for storing and cooking our own food. Easy to find and easy to park.

Our group of 4 sisters and their husbands stayed at Bay Avenue Bed and Breakfast and each of us highly recommend this property. Very clean and welcoming. Reasonably priced and very close to The Spit. Check Lori’s property out and stay there if you can. We even had a Moose and her twins visit the property on each of the two nights we spent there!

Really nice place to stay In Homer or anywhere else in Alaska. We travel to Alaska every year and this is the nicest place we have stayed. Lori is a gem of a host and her B&B is so charming and comfortable. People come to Homer for fishing or bears but the photography is stunning. The view from her backyard is stunningly beautiful. Nice breakfast too. Check it out.

This is a true B&B with a large table on which to take breakfast together (if you want) with the others guests. And that breakfast is wow, with lots of details, first class produce, as much as you want. Our toddler felt very welcome too.

Lori runs a great B&B. The location was superb, with views overlooking the bay and the mountains. It is quiet. Our room was comfortable with adequate space, and again, superb views overlooking the bay. The house was clean and nicely furnished. Overall, the ambience was warm and inviting.

The host is kind and thoughtful and creates a lovely and welcoming experience. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Homer for a casual and homey atmosphere with a beautiful view of Kachemak Bay.

My wife and I stayed there for three nights. It was our first visit to the Homer area. We couldn't have been more pleased with Bay Avenue B&B. The accommodations were cozy and quiet, with beautiful views of the bay. Breakfast items provided were delicious. We will definitely return at our earliest convenience.

This is a 'Gem' of a place to stay! Lori couldn't have been more helpful in recommending local restaurants and things to do. Bay Avenue B&B is in a great location right by the start of the Homer Spit. There are lovely views from the rooms and a pretty garden to relax in. There is also a cosy area indoors with a wood burner for when the evenings are closing in. A good breakfast is laid out every morning and there are plenty of fridges to keep your own food in if required. Tea & Coffee are also supplied. We could all learn lessons in housekeeping from Lori, it is so clean! The rooms have all you need with comfortable beds and shower en suites. This is a 'real' find.
