RRBouThe hotel's location is truly incredible. The metro station is right in front, a 3-minute walk away, as is the taxi rank.
The studio is spacious, even for two people for an extended stay.
The housekeeping service is excellent; they clean every day.
Water, coffee, sugar, tea, and milk are provided by the hotel.
The kitchenette is very spacious and well-equipped for preparing meals.
The refrigerator is very functional and large enough to store food.
The staff is truly excellent and attentive.
The breakfast is decent.

GGuest UserThe XVA Art Hotel is just the best for travelers looking for respite from modern western-style hotels. Located in old Dubai, it has no street address. From the street, you walk in 200 yards, rolling your luggage. XVA is an old estate with 4 walls surrounding an open courtyard. Room doors are secured inside with a wooden slider. On the outside, doors are secured with padlocks. The chef and server offer up wonderful breakfasts and (I assume, lunch and dinner). Reception staff is customer-oriented. This was my second stay at XVA and I would do it again. (It's also fun to encourage Uber and taxi drivers who have never before dropped off riders at XVA. Location is near Dubai Creek and easy to get transportation to and from. Hospitality, cleanliness, service, food, ambience - it's the best!

GGuest UserIt so happened that I had to stay at this hostel for a day. I lived in a mixed dorm; I was the only girl there. The other tenants were guys, a bit sloppy... The conditions weren't great, there was only one working bathroom, and it just had a shower head on the wall, with a toilet next to it... I don't think they changed the sheets, and there were no bath towels. I'm certainly not picky, but the conditions weren't great...

GGuest UserThe location was okay, the hotel was quite clean, and the housekeeping staff were friendly. However, there were a few major issues: 1. I originally booked from November 11th to 17th, but changed it to November 13th to 19th due to unforeseen circumstances, postponing it by two days. Since November 11th and 12th were booked separately, no matter how I explained it to the hotel, they refused to refund the money for that night. Negotiations with Ctrip customer service were also unsuccessful, leaving me with a significant loss of one night's payment. This left me feeling very uncomfortable. 2. Check-in time must be after 3 PM. Early check-in, even by an hour, incurs an extra charge. 3. Check-out time is stated as before 11 AM, but the staff's working hours are 9 AM to 3 PM. We wanted to check out at 7:30 PM due to our flight schedule, but the hotel said the staff hadn't started work yet and couldn't refund the deposit. They asked me to provide a Dubai bank account so they could transfer the money after the staff checked the room at 9 AM. But how could a tourist have a Dubai bank account? Or they suggested I leave the money with them for future use – this is ridiculous! 4. The water pressure was too low when I first checked in, and the shower water flow was too weak. I emailed the hotel but didn't get a reply. Around the fourth day, the water flow improved.
Overall, the experience wasn't good; I've never had this problem with a hotel before. Thanks to Ctrip for their help in communicating with the hotel.
