GGuest UserAt Yijian 6500: In Changsha, I found another definition of 'home.' The moment I stepped into Yijian 6500, I knew my trip to Changsha would be different because of this hotel. It doesn't feel like a cold, impersonal hotel; it's more like an old friend I've known for years, who has already prepared everything, just waiting for my return. From the moment I was greeted at the entrance, 'feeling at home' was no longer just an adjective. The house manager's gentle smile and warm greeting instantly melted away the fatigue of my journey. During check-in, a cup of perfectly warm tea was handed to me; that comforting warmth spread from my tongue to my heart. What surprised me even more was that the hotel thoughtfully upgraded my room! This unexpected gesture made any initial feeling of unfamiliarity completely disappear. The house manager accompanied me throughout, like a dedicated personal butler, meticulously explaining every detail of the room. From how to use the smart devices to the carefully prepared welcome snacks, everything revealed the host's attentiveness. What truly charmed me was the exquisite canvas bag, which not only contained an eye mask and earplugs to help me sleep soundly but was also a gift I could take home! This small gesture was full of human touch. There was even a Rubik's cube personally made by the hotel in the room; after I thoughtfully solved it, I received a coupon for Tea's Express! This clever integration of fun and surprise into the service made me both play and drink, lifting my spirits. At Yijian 6500, my taste buds were also exquisitely cared for. Complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea, and late-night snacks could all be delivered directly to my room. Whether it was a meal to energize me in the morning, delicate refreshments during a lazy afternoon, or a comforting supper late at night, I could enjoy delicious food without leaving my room. This feeling of being so meticulously looked after was truly wonderful. The house manager also thoughtfully provided us with 'Changsha Food Guide,' 'Changsha Attraction Recommendations,' and 'Trendy Street Play Guide' via WeChat. These guides weren't generic information found online; they were filled with local insider tips and practical advice, allowing us to experience the charm of Changsha more deeply. Coupled with free Wi-Fi and professional travel photography services, the entire stay experience was simply perfect. Leaving Yijian 6500, my heart was filled with reluctance. Afterward, I checked into the W Hotel, intending to experience the standardized service of an international chain, but the stark contrast felt like night and day. While the W Hotel certainly boasts modernity and luxury, the genuine, warm service at Yijian 6500 is something no standardized process can replicate. In that moment, my only thought was: I really want to go back. Yijian 6500, you are more than just a hotel; you allowed me to find another definition of 'home' in Changsha. Thank you for giving me such an unforgettable journey.

CChunlingThis homestay has a puppy named Yunduo and a very tame little cockroach (temporarily called Xiaohei), they are very clingy, and they sleep in the sun on the bench with them. This is a homestay that can heal people. I don't want to praise their home's decoration style and service quality. It is more that I can really feel the warmth and comfort brought by being away from the noise of the city. I like this store very much, this is a store that will make me nostalgic.

GGuest UserAs someone who frequently stays in five-star hotels, I'm incredibly picky! As a Hunan local, I spent my last few years in Changsha and after a long search, I chose this place – and I certainly made the right decision! I highly recommend it to anyone visiting from out of town! 1. All the front desk ladies are beautiful and highly professional. The one who helped me with photos was especially patient! 2. They were incredibly responsive to all my needs. I didn't have a sanitary pad during my period, and they delivered one promptly, even in the middle of the night! 3. The environment is truly comfortable – a peaceful haven amidst the hustle and bustle. 4. The bedding and toiletries are high quality, and the food is great too! 5. When I was leaving, a lovely lady at the front desk even walked me out, helped me with my bags, and had a beautiful smile. 6. Cleanliness and hygiene are top-notch; every corner has a pleasant, fresh scent.

TTongpinlvxingMy reflections after living in Changsha for over a month: I could literally lie down and see Orange Isle from my room ✨. The high-altitude river view is absolutely stunning, it feels like the whole city is a beautiful landscape, haha. The high-rise view with 270° floor-to-ceiling windows looks directly onto the Chairman Mao statue on Orange Isle 🌊. And not only that, you can watch the Xiang River during the day and the light show at night. The room setup is super thoughtful, and privacy for getting around is also well-assured. Plus, I experienced a fully smart home system along with a projector. It was incredibly cozy and relaxing to lie in bed, watching movies with the river view in the background – truly amazing! The front desk lady was so gentle 🥤, always ready to answer any questions. Thumbs up! I'll definitely be coming back to this place for my next trip 💕

RRen Yi Thomass陋有明室, known as LouYouMingShi hotel is located inside a small alleyway. Viewing from the main road, it may not be easily spotted. I had reserved a 2x double bed unit and the interior design of the room was exceptional. The shower room and bathroom (toilet) were separated which is easily convenient when utilized. The hotel provide laundry service and the staff was kind to assist you on managing the washing and drying duration time and the guests can just collect them after. The location was excellent as it's near to Tai Ping local food Street and next to it, was multiple beer pubs with live band music. For coffee lovers, there is a Singapore nanyang coffee store which opens from 9.00am. if you are lucky, you will find one or two stray dogs visiting this shop to enjoy the air-conditioning inside due to the warm and humid weather. For the metro station, there is a line 1 station near Wang Da mall (万大商场)or there is another line Wu Yi Station which is slightly further. Overall, this hotel is recommended especially for party goers who like to enjoy night parties such as the pubs closes at 3.00am and night supper which symbolise the given title as a ”Never Ending Night City of Changsha”.

XXuShaoZheThis was an excellent place to stay in Changsha, better than we could have expected. We visited in December and the heating from the air conditioner was enough to keep the room warm. The bathroom is modern, and even has heating above the shower. Both the room itself and the bathroom were very clean. We were on the third floor so we did not get bothered by any sound from the street. I am a very light sleeper but I did not wake up from anything. There are a few open air lounges around the building, most with a roof to protect from the rain, which were nice to sit and eat breakfast. The best thing about the room however is the bed. It is spacious (I think a king size) and so, so comfortable. There is a laundry facility but we didn't use this on our trip. They don't have a dryer machine but they do have a clothes line to dry clothes on. The owner spoke with us through WeChat and gave us recommendations on places to eat (a huge list, maybe 40 different places!) and checked if we needed room cleaning every day, and provided extra water bottles. The aunties at the hotel are all friendly. The location is really good, 5-7 mins walk from Peyuanqiao subway, and just one stop from Wuyi Square on line 1. It is also about 40mins on the subway or 30mins taxi to ChangshaNan Station (high-speed rail) and about 45mins subway from the airport. The hotel is on a quiet side street, the main street is very much a local, non-touristy street, which was nice, with a friendly uncle selling breakfast in the morning and many stalls and restaurants nearby. By the station you also have bigger chain shops and restaurants if this is what you prefer. The only thing to improve for me is that a coat hanger would be useful so we can hang up our coat somewhere. I love Changsha, my favourite city in China, and I think this hotel will become my go-to the next time I am back to visit!

GGuest UserThis homestay is quite difficult to find, especially for international travelers who are unfamiliar with the area. It was unclear where to check in at first, and we had to ask the building’s information desk to help contact the owner before we could access the room. Fortunately, the owner was kind and helpful. The room itself is spacious with plenty of space. There was a slight cigarette smell, which is common in some places in China, but the highlight is the beautiful river view. Although some buildings partially block the view, it is still very impressive. This was our last night in China before returning home, and staying here became a very good memory. Downstairs, there is a nearby park where you can take a walk and watch elderly locals doing their daily activities, which feels very authentic and enjoyable. The location is convenient—close to a train station and easy to get to Orange Isle. Around the building, there are rice shops and cafés, so finding food is not a problem at all. A good choice for travelers who value views and atmosphere, and don’t mind a bit of inconvenience during check-in.

AAnonymous UserI recently stayed at this place that offered a unique blend of tranquility and convenience. The location, while a bit distant from the train station, compensates with its proximity to a bustling mall, making it an ideal choice for both leisure and shopping enthusiasts. The amenities provided by the hotel were impressive, adding to the overall comfort of my stay. The room itself was a sanctuary of cleanliness – impeccably maintained and a testament to the hotel’s commitment to hygiene. One of the standout features was the room environment. It exuded a subtle charm that made my stay particularly pleasant. The highlight, however, was the breathtaking view from the window. Overlooking the serene river, it provided a picturesque backdrop, creating a soothing atmosphere that enhanced the overall experience. In conclusion, despite the slight distance from the train station, the hotel’s charm, cleanliness, and the delightful view make it a standout choice for those seeking a peaceful retreat with the added convenience of a nearby mall. I would highly recommend it for a refreshing and enjoyable stay.

JJuvieJEntrance and lift to the right tower was a little hard to find initially, especially for us who don't understand much Chinese and lift change to a different tower is required. Written instruction would've been useful. Room is ok, very low ceiling, nearly touched our head. Very cramped and not as spacious and nice as in photo. Lots of marks and scratches on the floor. Shower area is not clean, hair from previous stay still there. Our washing machine was broken. It couldn't be fixed in the 3 nights we stayed. The technician came on the second day and the floor was left dirty. We were offered to use the washing machine in a different unit, but with no dryer, it made it difficult. The electricity went out on our first morning and there was no power for about 3-4 hours. Then the evacuation building evacuation notice came on, twice that morning. We evacuated as that's the norm in our country. We're later told it's just a testing. It would've been nice if we were informed or there's some kind of communication on the floor. Very disruptive as we have young children. The evacuation drill happened again the next morning. We knew then to stay. The best thing about this apartment is the location. Close to all the hustle and bustle is Changsha, lots of eateries choices. On the negative side, we could hear thumping music and felt the vibration from nearby clubs until 3-4 in the morning.

GGuest UserThe river view room overlooks the Xiangjiang River, and the night view is even more beautiful. The room is clean and the facilities are relatively complete. Although the downstairs is on Xiangjiang Middle Road, the sound insulation is very good and it is quiet. Suitable for tourist accommodation in Changsha.
