LLui de PaulaExcellent hotel in the borders of the Tagong grasslands. When we arrived, we were a bit worried that it was too far from the town, but the owner gracefully drove us there the next morning. After sitting down and watching the view for a while, we were completely satisfied for having chosen this place. The owner is extremely nice, we talked with him a few times. The hotel is on the land behind his family's home, so it's all very cozy. When we had problems calling a taxi from Muya temple, he went there to pick us up himself. He also assisted us on finding a ride back to Kangding.The ******* breakfast was very good, as well. Even though it is a tent and the toilet is shared, we found it cleaner than almost all hotels in the same price range in China. The beds are also nicely soft.

PPockyBackpackThis hotel is located off the main road, requiring a short drive on a dirt path up a hill. On clear days, you can enjoy a stunning view of the snow-capped mountains. All the staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming. Since I was traveling alone, the hotel thoughtfully adjusted the hotpot portion to suit one person — which I really appreciated — and it was absolutely delicious. Every room offers a view of the snowy mountains. The in-room amenities are of high quality, the room is cozy and comfortably warm, and the size is just right — not too big or small. My favorite part, though, was the hotel’s common area, especially during sunset when the snow mountains turn red. The staff even invited me to step outside and take photos, which was so sweet of them. The next morning, I had to leave early, but breakfast normally starts late. Still, the staff kindly prepared an early breakfast just for me. Overall, the service mindset here is truly impressive, and the hotel’s common area is stunning — a paradise for photography lovers, with countless beautiful spots for pictures.

GGuest UserThe hotel environment is very good, the boss and waiters are very enthusiastic, we arrived late, and they also helped us reserve a parking space. The parent-child room is very convenient, clean and sanitary, and there is plenty of hot water. You can see the snow-capped mountains from the window in the morning. It is very quiet in the parking lot! When I arrived at the hotel, I was served fruit, and I was given snacks for the children when I left. It was very considerate!

KKoHKxxThis is a fantastic hotel run by tibetans in Tagong! The location is less than 10 min walk from Tagong gompa where public buses and shared taxis are available. Between the gompa and the hotel, you can find some ******* or Sichuan restaurants. The facility is quite decent and well maintained. Especially, ******* decoration is awesome. Also, staff members are quite helpful. Though they don't speak English, they took care of me ranging from transportation to food.

I get up in the morning and see the snowy mountains under the blue sky and white clouds. The boss is very good. I decided to change very frequently because of the high anti-travel. GGuest UserThese 3 nights were the highlight of my trip in Western Sichuan!! I can only recommend every traveller to come by this hotel. The owner and his wife are among the nicest people I've met in China. They will help you during your journey there and they are far beyond generous! 🥰 The hotel is close to a beautiful monastery, not quite in the city so you can enjoy the peacefulness of mother nature. You can enjoy the view of the beautiful twin mountains with the sunset. And If you need to go to the city, the owner always makes himself available to drive you there. Overall, this stay was one of the reason I enjoyed my journey in China, I really loved the friendliness over there, so don't wait anymore and go!😁

The moment the wooden door was opened, the aroma of butter tea wrapped in sunlight and crashed into the arms, even breathing with the sweetness of grass. 🏡 Room: Private Gallery with Snow Mountain Box Each room is a ”Snow Mountain View Art Museum”, and the window is a 360° grassland picture without dead ends: • When the morning mist is not scattered, the snow-capped mountains are like white jade dipped in milk • In the afternoon sun, the meadow becomes a flowing golden sea • In the evening, the whole pasture was plated with rose gold, the yak returned to the circle, and the groundhogs began their ”tea break” The best is the ”Sky Terrace”, sleeping with the Milky Way at night, awakened by the first ray of sunshine and the ”Good Morning Crow” of groundhogs in the morning. 🐿️ Cute Attack! AAnonymous UserThe guesthouse was easy to find and conveniently located close to the city center. The place itself was lovely, spotless, and hygienic. The underfloor heating was incredibly warm – I didn't feel cold at all! The guesthouse hostess was incredibly warm and friendly. I'm usually a bit introverted, but her proactive greeting made me feel completely at ease. For breakfast, she served homemade porridge, eggs, steamed buns, and twisted rolls. The steamed sweet potatoes were exceptionally soft, tender, and sweet – so delicious I almost asked her where she bought them! Next time I'm in Kangding, I'll definitely stay here again!

He also helped me book a bus and came all the way with me to the bus station to make sure I board the right bus. I really recommend this place!
