GGuest UserGreat location,easy to get around it’s walking distance to the best food street ,all well known Nanjing cuisine can be found here Walking distance to wudingmen metro station to and from Nanjing station ,just few steps away we can position ourselves for didi /taxi The hotel is located in the area maintaining Traditional Chinese architecture , decoration and greenery ,great for photography we got the room with a beautiful backyard full of plants and blossoms of flowers and a tray of welcome tea after checked in, the bed and pillows are comfortable ,showers is nice and warm Light Chinese breakfast served is good enough to start a day and not too much for the delicious Nanjing lunch later on:-) The girls at front desk are very friendly and sweet they were always ready to help The owners I guess who were on night shift were polite and respectful Overall we had a great time here thank you

LLuanjingDue to some unforeseen circumstances, I had an extra day in Nanjing. I wanted to stay somewhere close to Nanjing South Railway Station and stumbled upon this guesthouse. Upon entering the room, I was pleasantly surprised. It's designed like a one-bedroom apartment, very spacious, and decorated in a warm and elegant style. They even provided scriptures and Yuhua tea for a tasting. You could easily spend a comfortable day just relaxing in the room, enjoying the sun, practicing calligraphy, and sipping tea without even going out. The bathroom amenities were also very comprehensive, and they even offered disposable towels. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered city views, and I could even see the South Station from my room, which was within walking distance. There's also a commercial area nearby, making dining very convenient, and you can even do some shopping afterward. Later, I checked on my phone and realized it's also very convenient to get to popular Nanjing attractions like Fuzi Temple, Laomendong, and Niushou Mountain. I regretted not staying here earlier, as the soundproofing near the attractions I stayed at before was poor, and I didn't get good rest. My family and I commented multiple times that we wished we had booked this guesthouse from the very first day. I will definitely prioritize staying here again on my next trip to Nanjing.

GGuest UserLocated within the Old East Gate scenic area, this beautiful guesthouse greeted us with a charming creak as we opened the door. The decor blended seamlessly with the old house, and the scent was lovely. On the rooftop, there were adorable little animals, and it was my first time seeing a weasel! However, the 'flower-viewing' attic room can get noisy at night due to its proximity to a bar. We were warned about this before checking in, but if I stay here again, I'll definitely book a different room.

This hotel is a hidden gem, offering a secluded and quiet retreat that truly embodies peace and relaxation. The ambiance is simply delightful, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. One of the highlights of my stay was the food. I can confidently say that the Thai cuisine here is some of the best I’ve ever had in Nanjing! Each dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Additionally, I indulged in their Thai massage services, and it was an absolute must-try! The skilled therapists provided a rejuvenating experience that left me feeling refreshed and relaxed. While the area may not have as many tourist attractions as other parts of Nanjing, the tranquility and quality of service at Racha Mankha more than make up for it. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with fantastic food and pampering, this is the place to be!

It's very close to the Confucius Temple, and we walked to many attractions in Nanjing from there, experiencing the local food, beautiful scenery, and the lively atmosphere up close. The area is bustling and full of energy—we will cherish these memories and would love to come back again if given the chance.

The private soup pool is clean and comfortable, and you can see the stars when you look up at night. The sanitary environment is impeccable, and the service staff are also very caring and responsive. Definitely a treasure place to relax and heal alone around Nanjing!

GGuest UserGreat hotel with a lovely owner! The hotel is at a very good and central location in Nanjing close to two metro stations. In the lobby of the building is also a luckin coffee, so it’s great for people who want a coffee early in the morning. From my room there was also a nice view out of the window. The room was clean, big enough and well furnished, you can tell the owner pays attention to detail. The only downside is that the bed is quite hard and, I slept sandwiched between the blanket so that I both slept on the blanket and covered myself with it. This way it was totally fine for me, however for people very sensitive to hard beds it may be an issue. The owner is a lovely lady who despite her lack of English explains everything with a translator and gives recommendations on what to do and where to eat. When I had a question on where to leave my luggage after checkout I put an inquiry on trip.com since I couldn’t call her and it was answered very quickly. I could leave the luggage in the laundry room, which can be used for doing laundry free of charge btw. Overall I would really recommend to stay here.

GGuest UserDuring check-in, the owner was very friendly, even commenting on our height! He suggested we upgrade to a two-room suite with two beds, complete with movie and karaoke facilities. For just an extra 60 RMB, it was significantly larger than the room I originally booked, making it an excellent deal. Despite being on the basement level, the room was spotlessly clean and hygienic. It was equipped with an air purifier and a dehumidifier, and crucially, the air conditioning worked perfectly for the weather. The bed was very comfortable, and the entire room was maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.

SShirley Xue LiI am a solo 28 year old female traveller. I think some of the negative reviews here are a bit unfair. This is a budget hotel, and you really do get what you pay for. If you read the reviews beforehand, you’ll know what to expect including needing reception assistance for access at times if you're an expat. For a short stay on a budget, it was completely fine. The room was adequate, the location is very convenient, and it served its purpose. I would recommend it if you’re travelling solo or trying to keep costs down. Just manage your expectations and you’ll be fine. My favourite part is the location, amazing food nearby and metro station within 10 minute walk. Everyday I would go out and come back around 10pm, the staff was always readily available to let me inside my room. I just used my room to sleep.
