GGuest UserWow, this hotel truly exceeded all our expectations. Everything about our stay was exceptional, and I can confidently say there was not a single fault. From the very beginning, we felt incredibly welcomed by the staff. We were greeted downstairs at the door, our luggage was taken care of, and we were even offered tea and a hot towel, which was such a nice gesture. Before we were escorted to our room, the staff even helped us to change into slippers (outside shoes aren’t allowed past the lobby). One of the staff members then accompanied us to the room and explained every detail about it, something I’ve never experienced before. The room itself was also spotless and very comfortable. The shower was spacious, and the toiletries provided were of high quality. I also wanted to mention a moment where I truly felt genuine care from the staff. On a day when the temperature suddenly dropped, they had advised us to dress warmly and even provided us a bag with rain jackets and water. Without this kind gesture, I genuinely feel like I would’ve gotten sick so I felt extremely thankful. Coming back to the hotel, they even welcomed us back with hot tea and dessert, which was such a comforting and thoughtful touch. The hotel was also home to five adorable and friendly kitties. As a cat lover, this was such a delightful bonus and made the entire stay feel even more charming and homey. Overall, I would highly highly recommend this hotel. Although it is slightly pricier than the average of most hotels located in Zhangjiajie, the service and quality of the room definitely make up for it. There is no doubt that I’ll be staying here again when I come back to visit!

AAllenguoguoAfter years of staying in hotels on our trips, we decided to try a guesthouse this time, and it was a fantastic experience! The owner was incredibly welcoming and hospitable. Our accommodation was a beautiful Xiangxi stilt house, set in a lovely environment. Surrounded by mountains, the scenery was stunning. It was quiet, safe, and even had an outdoor swimming pool, which the kids absolutely loved. We could also take the little ones fishing, prawning, and feeding cats – truly perfect for families! All the food served was home-grown and home-raised by the owner. The local free-range chicken was delicious, and the cured pork hock was also excellent. They prepared the Sanxiaguo dish exactly to our liking, adjusting it to our preferences. The ingredients were fresh, clean, and completely trustworthy. Plus, the courtyard dining area offered wonderful views. For a trip, you really can't beat a place with such a wonderful, peaceful, and relaxing environment. What's more, it's conveniently located not far from the Zhangjiajie Scenic Area, just about a twenty-minute drive away. Giving this guesthouse a perfect 100% rating!

GGuest UserBetween the beauty of the natural spaces of this hotel, the perfect amenities, fantastic restaurant and IMPECCABLE service from all staff members this hotel is a no brainer for anyone wanting a relaxing spot with incredible views right from your room that rival any view from within Zhangjiajie Park. Truly, the service provided at this hotel included personalized aid when creating itineraries and excursion recommendations, free driver service to and from airport, train station, park and anywhere else, prompt and easy communication with fantastic and friendly hosts and much more. I know this review seems too good to be real, but I promise, this was my experience with my fiancé in the hotel for three nights. We cannot recommend this place enough.

AAnonymous UserChoosing this hotel for my Zhangjiajie trip was incredibly worthwhile! The room was impeccably clean, the bedding was soft and odorless, and there wasn't a speck of dust in any corner—it was truly comfortable. The most delightful surprise was the view outside the window: rolling green mountains right at my doorstep, and the sunset glow in the evening was absolutely stunning. The orange-red afterglow cast over the mountains was so romantic, I couldn't tear my eyes away. The free airport shuttle service was a lifesaver for first-time visitors to Zhangjiajie! As soon as I exited the airport, I saw the staff waiting, and I didn't have to worry about directions at all; they took me directly to the hotel. It was convenient and thoughtful. The hotel's location is also very handy, and the staff were patient in answering all my questions about subsequent travel plans. My experience was fantastic. From cleanliness to the views and service, everything was top-notch. Thumbs up!

GGuest UserCame to Zhangjiajie, but a heavy fog obscured the views. However, this hotel and the Charming Xiangxi show provided 80% of the fun! The hotel environment is excellent, and the staff are incredibly dedicated. The lobby is very relaxing, with berry tea and roasted sweet potatoes; sitting around the charcoal fire, I almost fell asleep. The sofa, bed, and pillows in the room are all very comfortable, and it was lovely to enjoy a beer with the mountain view from the room. It's an 8-minute walk to both Charming Xiangxi and Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. They even specially arranged for the chef to come back and cook a steak for me in the evening. Highly recommended! This must be one of the top tourist hotels in Zhangjiajie.

GGuest UserThis was one of the best hotels on my 3 week vacation in China! Which is incredible to say as most hotels are excellent here! The location, views, rooftop garden with panorama views of Tianmen, also from your balcony are SO understated! The quality of upkeep in the rooms is another highly recommended feature - the bathtub in the room over looking the mountains was the highlight after a long day in the mountains! They even gave me a cute gift when checking out, which was unexpected surprise over the incredible hospitality! I will definitely revisit when I’m in Zhangjiajie!

LLllaspenStylish Airbnb super close to Tianmen Park. Good location, easy to find but not quite convenient for parking. Close to Tianmen Park if that is part of the trip plan. Got free upgrade, so I could stay next to my parents. Two rooms with their own yards are super soothing. Good facilities generally, but there could be some improvements too, such as the floor in my parents’ room, and maybe add some sticker on switches to avoid some confusions. Other than that, I love the foam pillows, much better than normal soft pillows in hotels, also love the comb it provides in the bathroom. Good toilet and good bath amenities like shampoo and shower gel. Recommend to provide bathrobe too instead of waiting for request from guests. I also love the auto curtains and traditional styled wooden door. I couldn’t catch breakfast for my travel plan but parents did, they love it. Services from the host was great, especially when it comes to laundry service. He also helped with parking. Overall highly recommended!

EEl Dragon VolanteGreat service especially with their customers rappresentative. She made us a great itinerary for the national forest. Freya speak a very good english, mostly get in touch with her via Wechat. Location is perfect to reach the east gate. There are renovations work next door, so consider that will be difficult to sleep after 8:00am. For the priced paid highly recommended. Unlimited Water bottles in the lobby which is a nice touch.

AAD3KI love Miss Inn! The hotel is cosy and comfortable and conveniently located on Wuling Road. I believe the rooms have themes. The host kindly helped carry my bag up. My room faced Wuling Road but it wasn’t that noisy. The host is very kind and patient and he helped explain and advise the route to take in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. The East Gate to the Park is only a 12-minute walk from the hotel and the bus station is also within a 7-minute walk. There is also a resident kitty. When I booked, I didn’t know there’s a halal restaurant only two doors away (with sign in green) - what a bonus!

GGrgdvsPurespace in Zhangjiajie: A Westerner's Oasis Near a Secret Entrance to Heavenly Views As a Western traveler, finding a comfortable and convenient base for exploring the breathtaking Zhangjiajie National Forest Park can be a daunting task. However, Purespace proved to be an absolute gem, offering not only a welcoming and familiar environment but also a strategic location that unlocked a less crowded path to the park's wonders. From the moment I arrived, the family who run Purespace went above and beyond to ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay. Their English proficiency was good, and we used automatic translations when communicating complicated points to ensure we understood each other, it was a welcome relief, and they were incredibly helpful in arranging transportation and offering tips for navigating the park. The hotel itself boasts comfortable beds, wi-fi and wall to ceiling windows. The view is outstanding and easily the best view I’ve ever had at hotel. The bathtub in the window is just amazing - you sit in your bath After a long day of hiking in relaxing atmosphere - it was truly a treat. The breakfast offered a decent selection of Chinese options, with noodles available on demand. Delicious home cooked food was available at lunch and dinner too. However, the true standout feature of Purespace is its proximity to a lesser-known gate of the national park. Located just a short and easy walk from the hotel is an entrance that seems to be favored by locals and those in the know. This proved to be an absolute game-changer for accessing the Bailong Elevator early in the morning. While the main entrance was often swarming with 000s of guests, this smaller gate offered a quick and easy entry into the park. I was able to reach the base of the Bailong Elevator well before the peak crowds, allowing for a swift ascent and uninterrupted views of the stunning karst formations. This local tip, saved me valuable time and significantly enhanced my overall experience of the park. Its proximity to the ”secret” gate leading to the Bailong Elevator early is an invaluable asset for those wanting to maximize their time and avoid the ilong queues. I highly recommend Purespace and will stay there again when I go back.
