I contacted Luis via his website to let him know we'd be late checking in and right away, he responded. Within minutes, we were messaging each other on WhatsApp. Luis sent me loads of useful information and helped us get settled. The Pension Joakina is lovely and the whole place is immaculate. I could hear the staff cleaning every morning. The location was brilliant and we were able to walk to all of the places we planned to see. We will definitely go back. David (habitación verde)

Great location and friendly staff. Very easy to get in and get out. We had a triple bedroom and therefore didn’t have a lot of space but it was comfortable and very workable. No frills but it has everything you need. Would recommend this hotel.

It is located just off the bus from San Jose Sebastian Airport and you can get there without hesitation. The owner was familiar with Japan and politely told me about bus reservations for Bilbao. It is also close to the bar and is recommended.

Perfect for My dad and I. Right in the center of old town right by the beautiful church!

Great location, clean room, decent shower, good bed, very nice staff with a gentleman who was willing to explain what to do and where to eat what type of dinner. Car park across the street.

The toilet and bath were shared. I didn't write that.

The facilities were very beautiful. However, I think some people are hard to understand the password.

It is the best location in the old town. I checked in online in advance, but I received a signature and payment link by email, and I had already paid via Triip.com, so I had to check by phone to prevent double payment. . I was told in advance how to get to the room, password, and how to get the key, but I felt like solving the mystery because there was a lack of explanation. The key to the pension room is to open the first door, go up the stairs, and then open the second door. (I thought there was a locker with a key next to the first door, and I opened the breaker.) I was confused at first because the toilet was not locked and I was able to fully enjoy the city of San Sebastian thanks to the location.
