GGuest UserWhere to start! The owners are a super lovely couple that felt like our local guides from the time we met them. We opted for the tea ceremony before we checked in and that was the right call as we got to visit the owner’s parent’s home where not only did we learn about Japanese tea traditions but also see a traditional house. The couple were so generous with their time and information. After they took us to a hidden spot to see the Mt Fuji.
The hotel is really well designed and cozy. They have put in a lot of thought and care to make the place comfortable for the guests. It’s also away from the most crowded spots of the Kawaguchiko area, making it a very relaxing oasis (but also a bit harder to find Ubers especially on Sunday mornings. You may want to pre-order or ask the owners to book a taxi.)
They also helped us find a place for dinner (we originally wanted to book the dinner with a private chef but they were all booked out, so make your reservation in advance).
100/10 experience!

AAnonymous UserThis turned out to be a pleasant surprise. We arrived at midnight, and it was so dark we couldn't see the tiny 'P' sign for the campsite. We ended up parking at the bank's lot just ahead and dragging our luggage over, and my hands were freezing. Later, I realized the camp hotel had sent me a map with the location and room code – all that suffering for nothing! Luckily, the room was exceptionally clean, with a gas stove, microwave, and BBQ grill all fully equipped and neatly organized, ready for us to use. What was truly a special surprise was that the host had even pre-filled the bathtub with water for our arrival. The next morning, when I stepped outside for a walk, I discovered Mount Fuji right behind us – it was absolutely amazing! Many thanks to the host for providing us with such a wonderful experience. Driving to Oshino Hakkai the next day only took about fifteen minutes.

Both the environment and the cabin were wonderful and very comfortable.
We would suggest placing the instruction manual on the round table right at the entrance, as it would be easier for guests to notice it there.
We booked for four people, but only two sets of amenities were provided.
Other than that, everything was excellent. Thank you for a lovely stay!

GGuest UserThe staff were very friendly. They stored our luggage before check in and brought it straight to the room. The hotel is located right next to the station, a lot of renting and shops outside. The view was for the mountain Fuji - very beautiful and amazing. The onsen was good, we relaxed after an intensive day. Room had everything needed and provided a full authentic japanese experience, including very tasty tea. Would recommend for visiting, 100% good quality for the price.

WWYLIN00The host was extremely friendly and gave a thorough introduction to every corner of the guesthouse. Breakfast was also provided, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The location is very convenient—it's only a 5-minute walk to the famous Lawson Mount Fuji photo spot. From my room, I could even see Mount Fuji directly. For the price, this place offers incredible value for money.

AAnonymous UserWe had an absolutely fantastic stay at Villa Fuji Yamanakako. The view is truly 10/10 — we could see Mount Fuji directly from the villa, and waking up to such a breathtaking scenery every morning was an unforgettable experience. The location is perfect, with Lake Yamanakako just a 1-minute walking distance, making it very convenient for morning walks and enjoying the peaceful lakeside atmosphere.
The villa itself was very comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. One of the highlights was the fully furnished kitchen — there were plenty of utensils, plates, pots, and cooking tools available, which allowed us to prepare and enjoy our own breakfast easily. It really felt like a home away from home.
The environment was quiet, relaxing, and ideal for anyone looking to escape the busy city and enjoy nature, especially with the stunning view of Mount Fuji right in front of you. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, and our stay was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish.
We highly recommend Villa Fuji Yamanakako to anyone visiting the Fuji area. It is a perfect place for families, couples, or friends who want a comfortable stay with an incredible view. We would definitely love to come back again in the future!

GGuest UserI had a great stay at this place. The room was quite big, we were a group of 3 adults. It had a 711 right infront of it so you don't get hungry. The bus stop was just a few steps away. You have to take the red line from kawaguchiko station and it stops almost infront of the place. And they had bikes for rent with a discounted price for their guests. The downside was they had no elevator so it was quite a feat to carry your luggages but they only had 2 floors anyway so it was still all good. Even if it was very cold outside, the room felt very warm and cozy. They had a small table tatami style where you can eat your food.

DDndoriimuThe cabin was very clean and well maintained, with all equipment and amenities in excellent condition. Everything felt new and thoughtfully prepared, making the stay very comfortable. The self check-in and check-out process was easy and convenient.
The highlight was definitely the beautiful view of Mount Fuji — waking up and seeing Fuji so clearly was unforgettable.

GGengulphusExcellent location, just a few minutes walk from Kawaguchiko Station. The room was spacious with a tatami bed and a bunk bed, it can comfortably sleep 3 people. There is also an air purifier in the room. The bathroom and toilet are shared, they are spotless.

GGuest UserFrom the room, you can see Mount Fuji. It is very fast to go to the shore of Hirano. If you want to see the morning sunshine in Jinshan, you can open the curtains to see the clarity of Mount Fuji today and then decide whether to go downstairs. There is a private bathroom in the room. The room is large and the hotel is not new overall. You have to carry your luggage upstairs without elevator. It takes7-8 minutes to drag your luggage from Hirano bus station to the hotel.
