An Excellent Hotel with a Caring Host! We are very happy with our choice! The mattresses are high-quality, we slept wonderfully after a long trip to Sri-Lanka. The terrace is simply our favorite spot! Special thanks to the host for handling a non-standard situation: we originally booked 2 nights, but after the first night, our plans changed. We wanted to explore further into the island and then return to the same hotel 10 days later. The host was very accommodating: he seamlessly split our booking into two parts (the first night and the later night), which was extremely convenient and cost-effective for us. Moreover, he gave us excellent advice on the travel route around the island. What can be improved: neighbour's dog was a little bit noisy in the evening. We greatly appreciate the flexibility and hospitality! I definitely recommend this place.

Great place to stay. Staff were very good and helpful. The breakfast was good. Room size was spacious and it was great to have a choice of AC or calling fan. Great to having a working smart TB too. Choice of minibar options was perfect and at reasonable cost. Pool area was clean and well maintained. Would stay here again.

Sunrise Palace Negombo is about 30 minutes north of the airport. We had a late flight arrival and were met at the airport and safely whisked away to the hotel. We were quickly checked in - a very comfortable beds, clean room and fan/aircon. The neighbourhood was quiet. Breakfast of fruit, toast, egg, sausages and tea was enjoyed on the balcony. We were very well looked after during our short stay.

The villa is located in the nymombo area, 7 minutes walk to the sea, we got a room with all the facilities and mini-suitable with a refrigerator and teapot, hot water was always (except for half day after the rain), the room itself is very comfortable, With the Baldakhines from mosquitoes, a bunch of roseets, wai-faem (after the rain is not very stable). We in Sri Lanka for the first time and more wanted to focus on tours and... the owner of the villa offered us the most optimal option - an individual three-day tour on a car with a driver on all the sights we wanted and Even more (even on the tower of Ambulwava took and guessed the arrival of the train on the 9-thiaroic bridge and then travelling on the train itself through the bridge to another province), with a night in the best hotels of the region! At the same time the price was lower than the offers of local tours for two-day tours. And the hosts organized a transfer from and to the airport! Everything was clear and without overlaps! General impressions - Nemombo non-residential area, sea and coast are not the cleanest, but this villa as a transit base or as a place from where you can go to see the country clearly can be recommended! The settings and pool are fabulous. The accommodations look amazing. However mine was damp smelly and I felt stuffy and had headaches every day. Windows at night couldn’t be open due to monkeys etc The owners guna was a lovely man…he really was but he failed to solve anything ref the room. Felt he wasn’t concerned at all. Building work started 8am- gone 6pm which was not at all relaxing by pool or morning coffee. I failed to do my yoga as noise was too much. I have to say with the smell damp and noise I did not enjoy my stay at all. Although food staff & settings were lovely

The photos shown do not differ from the actual hotel. This inn is close to the airport and offers easy access. The hotel and rooms are clean, modern, and stylish. You can relax in a quiet, peaceful environment. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, despite the reasonable price. There is plenty of hot water, and towels are provided. The lighting is a little dim, but this contributes to the relaxing atmosphere. It's a little too dim for a single person, so it's perfect for two. Eating is prohibited in the rooms, and cleanliness is maintained at the utmost. When I got my henna tattoo, the owner made sure the henna had dried. I guess he was worried about getting the room dirty, lol. It's clear that the owner is a very neat freak, and he carefully manages the entire facility. There's also a tourist cafe about a three-minute walk away, so overall, this is a safe and recommended inn.

New hotel, perfect for arrival or walking due to the airport nearby.

Good location - between Main street and beach (and juice bar and yammi local food in 1 min). New rooms and very clean (thanks housekeeper Jay). Nice patio and silent (and independent entrance). But owner is wheeler-dealer, will take extra charge for everything! seems like a not as BB guest house, be like 5star hotel: breakfast 10$, transfer at airport - 25, checkout after 4 hours - 10. Despite, f ex linen and towels not changing/room service doesn’t every day here. I think, greed of owner - is the reason why this hotel is empty…

I had a comfortable stay at this hostel in Colombo. The location was convenient, with easy access to public transport, nearby restaurants, and local attractions. The room was basic but clean and well-kept. The bed and bedding were comfortable, and the shared facilities were tidy and functional. The common areas had a friendly vibe and made it easy to socialize with other travelers. The staff were welcoming and helpful, providing useful tips about local places to eat and things to do in the city. Check-in was smooth and the overall atmosphere felt safe. The price was great for what you get — a simple, no-frills place to rest while exploring Colombo. I’d recommend this hostel to budget travelers and backpackers looking for a friendly and affordable stay.

I accidentally booked for the wrong day, but they still welcomed me with full attention and availability. The bed is wonderful and the bathroom is very good. Nice view of the garden. Good location, close to restaurants and a market. I recommend it and would come back again.
