"The wooden building has a lovely ambiance. As a vegetarian, I was delighted to find three vegetarian restaurants within walking distance, so food was never an issue. The place was consistently clean, and the shared kitchen and dining area were spotless. It's not right in the middle of the tourist hustle and bustle, and foot traffic is light. Maybe it was because of Chinese New Year, but I could hear karaoke booming until late at night. Honestly, though, it added to the lively atmosphere, which I didn't mind. I stayed in a private room, but it was right next to the shared bathroom, so I could hear everything from there, which was a bit of a drawback at times."

"The hotel has two floors with about a dozen rooms. While it's quite basic, it's clean and hygienic, offering good value for money. The shared bathrooms are also convenient. There's no sign or guesthouse name outside the hotel, and its exterior looks almost identical to the surrounding buildings. A useful landmark is the large mural of a blacksmith forging iron on the side of the hotel—don't miss it. The hotel's location is also quite convenient; it's not far from the attractions, as the George Town UNESCO World Heritage site isn't very large. It's a self-check-in hotel, so please note that the main door password and room password are sent via messages on the Ctrip app. I rarely check app messages and was looking in my email, almost missing them. The power outlets in the room don't require an adapter for charging."
