"We took one queen sized bed room, it is a very simple room, only a queen sized mattress with no tv and table or cupboard etc. It has a window but the window is not facing outside, the window is facing the corridor so it has no different whether to open or close the window. It had a small washroom in the room with water heater but i think the heater is not hot enough. Hope that te management could put more attention on maintainence because the washroom door screws have come off and therefore the door is not fully in right position and could see through the person inside the washroom a little 😅 I like they have daily housekeeping and trustable cleaners there. They are very kind and friendly 😊"

This review is solely based on the overall experience staying at this apartment. It is to create awareness for others in case they have kids and would like to stay here as it has 2 Queen bed accommodation. For context, it is a condominium with dual keys unit, meaning it has one main entrance followed by 2 separate doors for each unit. I do not want anyone to been through what we did.
We check-in late around 5pm, the kids are excited when they entered the room happily and shouting. Out of a sudden, we heard a guy shouting from the other unit, we opened the door and he shouted at us angrily. He said he is staying here and he is sleeping, do not make any noise. We obliged and tried to keep our volume down. We went out after and back to the stay around 10pm. My kids suddenly cried and he shouted “Hello!”and slammed the door loudly. We will all stunned and speechless. The kids are only 3 and 8 fyi, and I have to tell them to be quiet for the whole time while staying here. What’s the joy of staying here for? To be honest, it is late at night at level 39 and with an unknown mental unwell guy just beside us really makes our stay a very stressful and threatening one. We slept for the night as it is late and the kids are tired. We left the stay asap the next morning.

RRasterifyHad some issues with the door lock initially but they were prompt with their responses and recovery so props to them. The bath towel had some musty smell on them but thank goodness there is a washing machine provided to wash them ourselves, so that can be improved. Overall quiet and good location.

GGuest UserWe reached the hotel at about 11.30pm from Songapore on 8/4. Upon reaching, we asked the security guard about the booking procedure. He does not know anything about it. He showed that there are boxes to collect the keys from near the laundry room. However, there were no instructions or information of password or room number to collect the keys. I tried to call the hotline and the internet phone but neither was successful in my attend. It was already past midnite. We were tored after the 11/2 hour of jam at the Causeway. We decided to search for another room at the agoda.com and found something for us to spend the night at Grand Landmark Hotel. It costed us $62 SGD. We stayed there until noon and decided to go back to the KSL Premier Residence. I checked my email and saw the instruction to the room coming in at 5.53am which is about 5hours from the time we alerted them via the apps. We went back before noon to the KSL Residence and checked in. Place is nice but we felt shortchanged and ill treated with this hiccups. We would like to ask for a refund for the first day and that Trip.com should pay for our sstay at Grand Landmark Hotel on 8-9 April for goodwill. It is not easy to move around with 2 msmall children. I hope your side exercise compassion and understanding for the negative experience we felt. w

Ggenie47Check-in is a breeze. I just show up to the office, paid MYR200 deposit and I got my key cards. It helps that there is a link bridge on the 3rd floor of R&F Mall connecting to the blocks on the other side.
The room is impressive. I rented a 4 bedroom unit overlooking the Causeway. The place is very clean. Towels are provided together with bath soap and shampoo in the 2 ensuite and common bathroom. A topload washer is provided situated at the balcony but not washing detergent.
If you don't intend to get out of the JB Sentral area at all opting to eat and shop at R&F Mall, this place is ideal.
We didn't use the pool and other facilities provided though.
In short a great place for a short or even long stay.

GGuest UserTo be honest, it felt pretty average, but it was very cheap and close to the Woodlands checkpoint. However, locals told me this area isn't very safe, though there's a security guard downstairs, so outsiders can't get in. The 'hotel' is actually an apartment, and you have to pick up the keys yourself from a designated location – it's fully self-service. There's a durian stall nearby that's cheap and tasty. The hairdryer didn't work well; it couldn't plug into the socket. The hygiene was mediocre; the bedding felt damp and was very wrinkled, almost like it had been used by someone else, sprayed with water, smoothed out, and then given to the next guest. The overall cleanliness was really subpar.

GGuest UserHappy to have booked here — no regrets! The scenery, location, and surroundings are interesting, and the apartment is new and looks luxurious. It was a good experience with a smooth check-in process. The host was responsive and helpful when I had questions, which made everything easy, even though I was initially a bit worried. We plan to come back again — it’s superb, especially for families!

LLam BaiFirst off, the location is quite remote for Johor as a whole, mainly because the Persiaran Laksamana area is newly developed. However, it's very close to Puteri Harbour International Ferry Terminal, which makes it ideal for travelers arriving by ferry.
Note that the detailed map location on Trip.com is incorrect. The correct address should be Almas Suites, Persiaran Laksamana, 79100 Iskandar Puteri, Johor Darul Ta'zim.
Due to this location, if you plan on frequently traveling to and from JB, you'll need to factor in potentially high transportation costs (more travel time and higher Grab fares).
If you opt for a high-floor room, you'll generally have a good experience with a nice view from the open balcony. However, the balconies are quite close to each other, so you might catch a glimpse of what your neighbors are up to! 😉
No rooms provide toothbrushes or toothpaste, and you'll need to bring your own shampoo and shower gel.
If you choose to eat in the room, you'll quickly discover it attracts tiny ants. It's best to dine at restaurants outside and then return to the room to relax.
During your stay, no room service is provided as it operates as a self-service apartment.

VVeneraTopForest City itself is beyond amazing! 🤩 However, the guest service at these apartments slightly dampened the experience. The apartments are spacious, equipped with everything you need, and offer fantastic views. We stayed for 8 days. We had a magnificent sea view from the 41st floor.
But the entry system on the door in the apartment was broken, probably a dead battery. The door kept making a sound as if someone was swiping a card to enter, which was particularly unpleasant at night. Additionally, the washing machine in the apartment wasn't working – perhaps the water supply to it was just turned off. And finally, the cleaning. No one cleaned the apartment for all 8 days. We requested cleaning several times in the chat over a few days, and they replied 'ok👌', but no one ever showed up. Only the day before we left, a maid woke us up, but we declined the cleaning as it was already time to check out.
