CChrisSmithThe hotel on the whole was absolutely excellent! It is very well situated, nice and close to lots of restaurants and bars without being so close as to keep you awake. It is easily accessible and taxis will pick you up straight from the door. The hotel was one of few in the area with a pool which was very well maintained. As seen in the picture, the view over Chaweng Lake was stunning and made sitting on the private balcony very relaxing. The staff were wonderful, very polite and kept the room freshly cleaned for us everyday. The staff also did a set of laundry for us for a small fee of 200Baht which was excellent. On the whole, I can’t recommend Chaweng Lakeview Residence enough!

Stayed for 3 nights as a solo traveler. The yoga caves are small but very pretty, modern and clean. No ensuite but the toilets and showers are 10m from the rooms and very clean -- still...not the most fun to get up in the middle of the night. 3-4 yoga classes each day and really impressed that the teaching is quite advanced. Classes have a whole range of skills ability, most people seem fairly beginner. The complementary Cafe breakfast is incredibly yummy (scrambled tofu!) and filling, and such a view! In 3 days / a shorter stay you probably won't talk to anyone, people are smiley and friendly but don't engage beyond that.

GGuest UserI stayed for two weeks and it was a beautiful and peaceful place. If you find the beds hard- they can provide a mattress topper. Make sure to ask for it. The food was good and the coffee reasonably priced and very good.

The cleanliness was acceptable, and the staff provided excellent service. The location is great, right by the beach with a beautiful shoreline. However, the facilities could be improved. There was no TV, the water heater was not working, and there were quite a lot of mosquitoes.
