This cabin is totally country and is located on top of the hill along with the larger Mountain Queen Cabin. Each has privacy and beautiful views. Please note, this is a "Tiny House" and it is designed to be environmentally efficient. We ask that guests be conscientious about water use as well as recycling and composting. The odor free compost toilet does require some maintenance which you will be taught during orientation. The Tiny House has high speed WiFi, electric stove top, microwave, mini-fridge, kitchen sink, wooden table, eating and cooking utensils, hot shower and compost toilet as well as other amenities. The cabin has AC and is heated. As mentioned, in order to get to the bedroom you must climb up a short ladder to the loft. The loft has a low ceiling and angled roof, which is shorter on the sides. My son is 6'3" and he has lived in the tiny house and found it comfortable. The cabin is located adjacent to the Hammond Hill State Forest with 20 miles of trails for cross-country skiing, hiking and biking. Located just 12 miles from Ithaca, NY home of beautiful Gorges and state parks as well as Cornell University and Ithaca College. It' is about an hour's drive from Watkins Glen, NY. The cabin is perfect for those who enjoy a peaceful country setting. This is an adult space and is strictly limited to not more then two people.
