This apartment features one bedroom and a large patio retreat with an amazing fire pit!The spaceThis apartment can easily sleep up to 2 people with 1 bedroom. It has a nice size bathroom and an outdoor patio where you can rest under the stars!Large bedroom.The shower knobs are switched and you have to turn turn them the opposite direction so the cold knob is hot water and the hot is cold and you have to turn them a little extra hard to have them turn on. The loft is 750 sq-ft of high-ceiling open space with 600 sq-ft of covered porch in a private building.The spacious high-ceiling loft contains custom made art-crate furniture including a double bed, a large coffee table and a rolling closet, as well as pine dining table with Prouvé chairs, a comfortable sofa, and outdoor retro rockers. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, cooking range, countertop oven, toaster, coffee maker, and cooking and eating utensils. The bathroom has a custom designed concrete shower and sink. The loft is owned by two artists whose artworks are on display. It is outfitted with high speed wi-fi, heating and cooling systems, and ceiling fans. The south facing covered 600-ft outdoor deck is ideal for lounging day and night.The building sits on a shared 8-acre ranchette with plenty of land on which you are welcome to roam. Gorgeous landscape extends in all directions, with quiet roads perfect for long walks. There are loads of bunnies, jackrabbits, and the occasional tortoise, javelina, fox, and other wildlife can be spotted. It is an especially good area for birding; the extreme silence only punctuated by the calls and songs of the many varieties of birds.The place is ideal for a couple or small family requiring room and tranquility. It's spacious inside and out, airy with lots of light. While it's out of the fray of downtown, it's a short walk, bike ride or drive to the Judd and Chinati Foundations, coffeehouses, restaurants, supermarkets and shops.CHECKIN/OUT: Checkins start at 4PM and checkout is 10AM. For early checkins or late checkouts talk to your host to make a request. Early checkins or late checkouts start at $50 each. PETS: We do allow pets with permission. Each pet requires a $35 cleaning fee. Fees can be added in the app under “Guest Totals”. You’ll see an option to add pets which will add fees for non-service pets. Please send photo of service pet papers. Non-service pets should not be added to pet total. Because every pet is different, we have no idea the amount of cleaning that will be required. Please be respectful and clean up after your pet. Please do not allow your pets to roam in the yard without supervision. When it's time for sleep, walk the twenty steps home.LOCATION:This property is just across the bridge off the main drag on the North East side of town.PROPERTY:This property is one of four private rentals inside an 8ft gated metal fence. Each unit can be rented separately or as a whole (ask us about Event space rentals). When booking separately there will be others staying in near by rentals within the compound. Each unit is private and outdoor space is communal. In the center of the compound is a BAR. The bar can be loud. Please consider when booking.BAR DAYS OF OPERATION:Thursday-SundayDays and hours are subject to change.UNIT UNO:This unit sleeps up to four (4 guests) total inside a lofted studio space with one bathroom.SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS:The sleeping arrangements include two FULL size beds, one in the main studio space and one in the loft. If you are booking with 3-4 guests in your party, 1-2 guests will need to be able to climb very tall heights which can be extremely dangerous for small children. Please only book if you are comfortable with this. There is a small area with luggage rack and full length body mirror.KITCHENETTE:The space is equipped with kitchenette, high top seating for two, microwave, and sink. Each kitchenette has two electric burners for cooking. Enjoy sitting outside on private front porch.BATH:Each unit has one bathroom with toilet, sink and walk-in shower.WIFI:Wifi works great for streaming and work calls.TV:At this time we do not provide TV, however, you can bring your own devices for streaming movies on your favorite networks. There is an outside big screen that you are welcome to use.ESSENTIALS:All basic essentials and more are provided. You can expect clean sheets upon arrival, fresh towels and hot water. Hand soap, dish soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Paper towels, toilet paper, coffee, sugar and creamers are also available. Each unit is provided enough items for stay. Dishware, cups, silverware, cooking utensils, pots and pans.AMENITIES:Each unit has WiFi, one blow dryer, Keurig coffee maker, mini fridge without freezer, microwave, two burner stove and light-up vanity body mirror. OUTDOORS:Each unit has its own private front porch with seating. Enjoy shaded drinks, a good book or lounge with a good book.PETS:We do allow pets with additional cleaning fee.
