YYee San NelsonNot top of the line facilities but this is made up by easy location both to airport and downtown, as well as superb services.
No food is served however, and the stay could be frustrating at times when electricity brownout comes twice a day (not hotel's fault, it is a Joburg municipality issue).
Overall, agreeable experience for this stay and great value for the money!

DDeb KienzleWhat a great little hideaway! It was like stepping into a literal Little Forest! The trees, the birds, the solitude, it was so peaceful. Breakfast was very good, made to order. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay again.

JJazzaOur stay at Bellgrove Guesthouse was warm, comfortable, and genuinely welcoming. The guesthouse offered a peaceful residential setting while still being conveniently located near Sandton and key amenities. The breakfast each morning was a highlight — generous portions with options ranging from full English breakfasts to lighter continental choices. The parents especially appreciated the quality and effort put into the meals. The rooms were clean, practical, and suitable for a family stay. Staff were friendly and helpful, creating a relaxed environment that made us feel safe and at ease. Transport logistics in and out were manageable via Uber, although occasional driver issues with change were noted. Overall, Bellgrove provided a homely and dependable base for the Johannesburg portion of our trip.

GGuest UserThis B&B is run by a kind-hearted Chinese couple. It’s easy to communicate and the environment is very good. It’s very safe to go out in this area during the day. Taxi service is very fast. It is recommended to buy a phone card when you come to the airport here, or ask the landlord to help you buy it because it is available on Taobao in China. The ones I bought are basically useless. There is a supermarket nearby where you can walk to buy ingredients and cook in the kitchen. It is very suitable for Chinese people to stay in a hotel.

KKayilThe location is close to the Gautrain Midrand Station, providing convenient travel to the major cities of Gauteng. Moreover, the workers are friendly, and the other guests keep to themselves. However, the lighting in the room is too dim, and I wish they had an option for breakfast. Lastly, the place is convenient for South Africans to escape for a day or a weekend, and foreign tourists will also benefit from staying at this lodge due to its location.
