La Petite Folie

This might be a nice place to stay for people who like old fashion style. It is very clean, well maintained, Valerie was welcoming. However this is an old building- I could hear every single sound from the neighbors, noise from the street, I could hardly sleep for two nights. They have no AC, so you need to keep your windows opened which makes it even worse. No lift is a minimum inconvenience.

Beautifully restored interior apartments in historic building in the heart of Honfleur. The village is busy, but beautiful in summer. La Petite proves ideal comfort, room, kitchenette with coffee and tea makers, coffee and tea bags, minibar wine, champagne, soft drinks, cooktop, refrigerator with refillable cold water, toaster, sink and dishes. If getting a room on floor 1 or 2, you’ll need to be comfortable carrying bags up stairs. There is no elevator. Ground floor is another option. Tres Bien!

Fantastic small hotel. Highly recommended. The only negative point is that one of the rooms we had did not have any A/C so it got very hot when it was 40 degrees outside.

A wonderful location. Two couples, our rooms were on the second floor. Beautiful rooms with excellent service. Our host Valerie was wonderful. Free parking is plentiful only 200metres away. One morning we decided to have breakfast in the summer house, which was excellent. If visiting Honfleur again I would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely charming hotel in the heart of Honfleur. The room was spacious with great amenities. The hotel has a lovely garden area to just enjoy the afternoon sun. The managers were helpful and extremely friendly. Would absolutely recommend the hotel!

Beautiful place and great location. Walkable to all Honfleur and near the water. Gracious staff and pretty accommodations.

Prestige rooms are really prestige. We have tried the one called "Charles Baudelaire" in the 1st floor and it is highly recommended. Kitchen included (where you can really cook), spacious living room and spacious bedroom. Facing the garden and totally quiet. Only curtains, so there is a bit of light in the morning. Not a deal breaker, even for my wife which is sensible to this topic.

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at La Petite Folie. The house and small garden are stunning and well kept. Each apartment (we were a large group and took 6 of the 8 apartments) was spotless and well appointed. Each was charming and full of character but with all the equipment needed. We were given a very warm welcome from Valerie who was very accommodating and friendly. We took breakfast which was good quality and sufficient to start the day well. As we were a group with had breakfast in the dining room which worked well. The location of the house is perfect, just a couple of steps from the centre of Honfleur. Parking is limited outside and paid from 8am but there is a large carpark a short walk away which we used with no problems. It was wonderful to have the living room to meet in at the end of the day for a drink and a chat. Communications before our stay were excellent and gaining access to the property when we arrived late at night was straight forward. I cannot recommend this property enough and cannot wait to come back again. I really would not stay anywhere else in Honfleur now!

Wow - amazing boutique hotel in Honfleur. We loved it - our room was spacious and very comfortable. Our hosts were amazing and we enjoyed using the garden, tea room and library on the property. Highly recommend.
