It was very clean and everything was well-appointed, and it was a space that I wanted to stay in forever. The room was always warm, so I was able to spend a comfortable time without shivering in the cold.

Lovely stay in one the courtyard villas. Was more than big enough for our family of four, plenty of equipment. The hotel itself is very charming, lovely to come back to in the evening. Very close to the centre, host was very hospitable. We didn’t realise we had breakfast included, but she kept it open for us!

When we booked, we were advised a fan was in every room. On arrival, after waiting 90 mins for it to open (closed until 3pm every day it seems) it was very hot. Our room necessitated a walk out of the hotel up the road and into another door into our room. It was baking hot, windows opened into the street (ground floor so poor security) and the owners son Louis said no rooms had fans. Given a heart condition we asked if we could agree a cancellation to a hotel with air con) and offered 50% of the cost as compensation. Louis called his mother the owner and then told us given the circumstances a free cancellation was agreed. We have since been charged the total bill and they are refusing to discuss saying no refund was agreed. Very disappointing as we thought we had been entirely honourable but it was sadly not reciprocated and has left us very annoyed and let down by the hotels owners. If you do book, it’s situated on a hill and there are narrow one way roads around it with challenging parking. No air con or fans so I would suggest avoid summer months here and stay more centrally with air con. Mercure was excellent.

Note the ‘hotel’ shuts until 3pm so no one there. We arrived to a room that was over 80 degrees hot. No fan was available as advised (my wife has a heart condition and cooking was needed) Room required us to go outside onto the street and into another door. Windows opened into the street so leaving them open not an option. We were advised by Louis (owners son) that we could cancel and move as a result free of charge. He talked on the phone to his mother the owner. We offered to pay one night as compensation but they said no charge. We have now been charged the full fee and the hotel are denying they offered a free cancellation. We should have videod the chat variation so our bad. Either way this is on a hill outside town and down a narrow one way street where parking is not easy. Better air conditioned hotels in better locations (Mercure excellent) in the town. Stay anywhere but here.

This was our favorite stay of our 10 day vacation. I felt like I was transported to Narnia, in this tucked away gem. The proprietor walked out to our car to show us where to park, upgraded our room, and was so thoughtful. Our room was so charming, the furnishings cozy and inviting. The bed was so comfy, the showers so hot. Breakfast was in the cutest nook, with amazing croissants, bread, jams, and juices. We lvex this place in the daytime when checking in but returning from walking to dinner and seeing the lights around the place was just magical.

Yes. It’s a lovely old medieval building with an in-town location. It has lots of charm although it would have been nice if the plastic flowers in the yard and office were real. Our room had little practical lighting - what was the purpose of the huge modern chandelier hanging over the bed? The room had a strong sweet perfume smell. There were 8 lively decorative pillows on the bed but not one of them could be used for comfortable sleeping. Have the owners tried sleeping here? The bathroom was its best attribute. It was beautiful - large and modern. The shower had plenty of hot water and great water pressure. There was no one permanently at the front desk AND there was no bell to call anyone that we could see. Definitely reserve parking as there are very few spaces on the steep and narrow street.
