Upon arrival we were told that all there was complimentary water in the mini fridge for us in the room (room 33), however there wasnt. There was also no wifi in our room or indeed outside the main office, despite the hotel advertising that wifi is available in all areas of the hotel. Tea making waz available in the room but no tea bags and no milk. We tried to ccrtacr the front desk between 6pm and 7pm but finally gave up and visited personally but still there was no one about, despite being told that soneone was always on duty!, so we gave up!
We had a bath with a shower attachment in our room, not our choice, but no shower curtain or screen which made showering extremely difficult and the floor treacherous. On the plus side the hotel is a 5 minute walk into the harbour area, and parking is available in front of the main house. We decided against the breakfast offering as so far we'd been unimpressed, however we found an excellent tea room serving breakfast overlooking the harbour.
When asked how our stay was by the receptionist, after I informed him of our issue, he just replied "next time you'll need to book a room with a shower" there won't be a next time!
