I don't think you can judge a nearly 700 HKD/night room as small and awful without considering the cost of living in Hong Kong. However, it genuinely felt like a guesthouse you'd pay 70-90 RMB for in mainland China. The toilet was outside the room, and inside, there was only a small table, which counted as furniture. Most importantly, at 1.83m, I couldn't even stretch my legs out properly! The Filipina at the front desk was polite, mainly because I speak English. If you don't speak English, I wouldn't recommend this place, as they'll send you across the street to a 'shared apartment' in another building to make do. The reason for the bad review isn't the factual, rational statements above, as I had some mental preparation before booking. BUT! The agent on Trip.com called this a 'luxury single room'?! I barely slept all night; there was constant street noise outside, no air conditioning to be found in the room, and drafts everywhere. Looking on the bright side, I guess I paid 700 HKD for a survival game experience. I saw someone complaining about getting a skin condition from the towels. The Indian gentleman at the entrance stacks the towels right on the street, so how clean do you think they can be? I feel sorry for myself; my financial situation isn't terrible, I just wanted to save some money and almost lost my life doing so. I also feel for Hong Kongers; their income seems 2-3 times higher than ours in Shanghai, but the cost of accommodation and food is 3-10 times higher than ours...

The location is absolutely fantastic! Can't be beat.

The room was tiny and didn't match the pictures at all, which felt very misleading! Plus, we couldn't even cancel the booking! And to top it off, it was more expensive than other places nearby.

The bed was very small and short, I couldn't even stretch my legs out.

Hotel tried to extort more money from me by claiming the room I booked is not avaible and that they have to upgrade me for one night. I booked two nights and they insisted that I have to move next morning or talk to hotel boss about paying for "upgrade". This made my short two day stay very uncomfortable since I could not fully unpack my luggage in hotel with fear that they will move my stuff on their own without my approval. I also suggest you to not reveal to them that you have cash or HK dollar. Don't let them change you for hotel key fee or try to export additional room payment.

Not as advertised. The room was beyond the definition of extremely small and crowded. The 2 double beds were tightly sandwiched between walls with barely any space separating the two beds. The linen did not feel clean. The bathroom came with a shower over the toilet. There was the constant smell of very heavy greasy cooking from the restaurants below. Disappointing does not even begin to describe our experience.

They bring me in another hotel. Very near the metro station. But this room was old and very small has expected. The place was very quiet.

Experience it for yourself to truly understand.

Location is nearby Tsim Tsha Tzui. Nearby got many good food. But do not expected so much from hotel

Location is great but solo room toilet is a too small . Front desk is helpful and polite though. Overall it’s good .

The location of this hotel is very good. Next to Kowloon park and in Tsim Sha Tsui. The room is small but that is to be expected. The room could do with a little renovation the paint is chipped on the wall and the roof is a bit dirty as well. I would stay here again
