It was nice staying here. Near ladies market and the receptionist is friendly. They also have refrigerator where you can store your food.

The owner was really nice, they upgraded my room. For the price, the value for money is unbeatable. It's also conveniently located for transportation. I'd definitely consider staying here again next time I'm in Hong Kong.

Very satisfied! I thought guesthouses in Hong Kong, especially in older areas, might be a bit run down, but this one's decor is so fresh and the bed 🛌 is super comfortable!! I really want to know what brand it is 😆 forgot to ask 💦 Everything else was thoughtfully considered too! For example, every outlet comes with a three-prong socket, which is very convenient for mainland visitors! The common area has a microwave, a steam oven, a refrigerator, and even a sofa 🛋️. Other guests were also very polite and didn't take other people's belongings. Anyway, it exceeded my expectations. I didn't take pictures of the room, but I did photograph the guesthouse's decor~ It feels like the owner really knows how to live well 😆. And the staff's attitude was excellent! They were also very enthusiastic about telling me where to find good food and fun things to do~ 🥰

No complaints other than the small size. I booked this place last minute the day before arriving in Hong Kong and it turned out great. It's very close to the MTR station, and there's a 7-Eleven downstairs. The front desk staff were also very friendly. I had a wonderful two days and would probably stay here again on my next trip to Hong Kong.

Excellent location. Buses to various places are right downstairs. The room was clean, offered great value for money, and the service was warm and welcoming. A very satisfying stay.

The room I was given on the first night was a bit bigger, which was nice. The one I switched to later was a little smaller. I had stayed at this hotel two years ago, so I chose Golden Gate Hotel again for my trip to Hong Kong. It felt good to be familiar with the place. 😁

Good service, easy to find, cheap and near the tourist attractions

We couldn't find the hotel entrance nearby, so we called the staff. She very gently guided us, telling us to look for Circle K and then take the elevator to the 21st floor at the Xinxing Building entrance. Once we arrived, a super cute and sweet staff member checked us in, collected our deposit, and then showed us to our room, explaining the check-in guidelines and so on. Although the room was small, it had everything we needed, and there were also lovely common areas (living room, kitchen, bathroom) outside the room. When we took a shower in the evening, we realized the showerhead in our room was different from what was shown in the guide. The staff immediately instructed us on how to use it correctly. Our stay at this hotel was fantastic; all three staff members we encountered were very thoughtful and patient. The environment was clean and quiet, and felt very cozy. After checking out, the hotel's free luggage storage service was perfect, allowing us to go out and explore before returning to pick up our bags and head back to the mainland. However, we left in a hurry and forgot to get our deposit back. Luckily, the app provided an email address. I sent an email at around 11:30 PM, and the hotel responded within 20 minutes. After a series of steps, the hotel refunded my deposit at the current exchange rate. All in all, this hotel is excellent.
