It's convenient, and for this price in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui, it's safe and well-equipped. As a solo female traveler, it's perfect for a trip to Hong Kong. You go up to the 10th floor and walk to Block C. The manager is Indian and speaks English. There's a 100 HKD deposit, and a cleaning fee of around 15 yuan. The block has both air conditioning and a fan. Traveling alone, it felt safe and convenient. This price in the city center is excellent. For convenience to Victoria Peak, exit D at the MTR station is perfect. The location is great, convenient for visiting Sik Sik Yuen Wong Tai Sin Temple and Che Kung Temple, and it feels safe. The air-conditioned room was cool. Small rooms are normal for Hong Kong, but convenience and safety are paramount. I would definitely use this service again. It's convenient with lots of restaurants nearby and shopping areas like Sasa. Most importantly, it's right next to the MTR, suitable for solo travelers and those who are okay with the room size and perhaps the Indian staff in the hallway. You also need to be okay with the atmosphere of Block C – you walk to the very end of the building's hallway on the 13th floor. This building houses several guesthouses on different floors. For this price in Hong Kong, it's excellent. The blankets and pillows were decent. I would definitely use this service again. 👍🙏🙏🙏23/7/2026

My sister and I stayed for seven days.Although we arrived past midnight, the lady helped us check in quite smoothly. There was an extra HKD322 that we had to pay and they return the HKD100 when checking out. The manager and young guy were always at the front desk and happy to attend to our needs. The place is decent and conveniently located. The mini bar fridge in the room was a bonus since we were traveling in summer and needed cold water to drink every hour 😂, the WiFi connection was also stable. Thank you for your kind service and treatment for each day that we stayed.

I extended our stay in the same hostel as we felt comfortable with the Filipino staff. Our room was clean. Just the AC creating so much noise.

The room looks exactly like this. It was next to the reception and was surprisingly not very loud. The aircon was perfect. The fan was also helpful. The bathroom was big, there were shampoo and body gel. They provided the towel and the hair drier. You have to pay deposit for the key and service fee too. There is a hotwater dispenser outside:

This hotel is suitable for a one or two-night stopover. It's clean and tidy, and the staff are responsive and polite.

Position is close to Victoria Harbour so not bad, service very standard, good cleaning, check out before of time, but generally not bad.

The room was cramped, windowless, and the toilet was barely usable – a larger person definitely wouldn't fit! No hangers provided. The duvet smelled musty, and the sheets had lipstick stains and yellow urine marks! I arrived an hour early to store my backpack, which cost 35 HKD. Around 9 PM, a group of Indian people knocked on my door, saying they had the wrong room. I was promised a late checkout at 11:30 AM, but starting just after 10 AM, they repeatedly knocked on my door to rush me out.

Very rude owner (the one with a turban)! You definitely don’t feel welcomed like a guest but rather like you disturb them. We were 5 minutes late in our check-out (11:35 instead of 11:30) and he came to our room shouting at us, asking why we haven’t finished packing our stuff and threatening to charge us an overstay. I understand its our fault but this could happen to anyone and no need to be so agressive towards us. The filipino woman staff although was kind and professional. About the rooms, well they are tiny and not very clean but that’s what you expect from an accomodation inside chungking mansions….

Definiety booking with Philippine hostel whenever i'll be in hongkong. The location was perfect, although i was alittle skeptical at first from reviews of hostels online, this exceeded my esxpectation. The room gave a homey feel to it. shower had hot/cold water, bathroom slippers were provided and the staff were accomdating to our requests.

The room wasn't huge, but we booked a triple room for two people, so it was fine. It was very clean and there was no smoky smell. You need to communicate in English here. We couldn't find the place when we arrived nearby. Calling didn't help with the communication, so it took us a long time to locate it. Toiletries are not provided.

Rooms are clean and larger than average for Hong Kong, but most importantly, it's close to the A21 bus stop, which takes you to the airport, and also to an excellent Alice Pizza.
