IND Hotel

1. The hotel's design isn't your typical style; it has an anime industrial theme. Honestly, walking to the room felt a bit oppressive, like entering a prison or hospital (just my personal feeling). It reminded me more of a youth hostel's vibe, which younger people might appreciate. However, the room itself was very basic. 2. The reception is on the 1st floor, and the rooms are on other floors, so you only interact with staff during check-in and check-out. But they're very responsive by phone, and it was great that I could borrow a universal adapter! 3. The hotel is located on Kwun Tong Road, which has an elevated highway running above it. This made rooms facing the road very noisy and poorly lit. It's also a bit of a walk to restaurants, convenience stores, and the MTR station. 4. Hong Kong has banned single-use plastic products. Some hotels provide shared shampoo and shower gel, wooden toothbrushes, and communal water dispensers. However, this hotel charges 20 HKD for a toiletry set and 10 HKD for drinking water, which is something I can't give a good rating for.

The hotel didn't provide any toiletries, not even shampoo or shower gel. Luckily, I brought my own this time. They didn't even offer the bottled water shown in their promotional photos. Check-out was at 11 AM, and my Ctrip membership didn't even get me an upgrade. The bed was only 1.3 meters wide. The safe was missing a battery and unusable. On the bright side, the towels, bath sheets, and bedding seemed clean and I didn't notice any major issues. The location was quite convenient, close to the MTR station, and it was easy to walk to the lively Kwun Tong district with its many local Hong Kong eateries.

The room was spacious and very clean, but the location was a bit out of the way, and there were no small shops nearby to buy drinks or snacks.

The soundproofing is really, really bad! I honestly can't give it a high rating.
