Chose this hotel because of its proximity to the Science Park, a 15 mins drive away. I love that it's connected to New Town Plaza Mall via a sheltered linked bridge on L3. The mall is huge, with many F&B options, supermarket and even a cinema. It is however far from typical tourist areas in the Kowloon side, approximately 30 mins by Uber which is rather costly in HKG. The mall is connected to the metro (Sha Tin station on the East Rail blue line), a more affordable means of transport but a longer travel time. The room is spacious by HKG standards, though the bathroom is small, typical of hotel rooms in HKG. The bed is firm but pillows are too soft for my liking. In general, the room is clean and well maintained and looks fairly new. The standing shower is a good size with a showerhead of strong water pressure. However the toilet bowl doesn't flush too well and requires multiple flushes to clear properly. They don't provide bottled water but there's a water dispenser on every level. The swimming pool is an odd-shaped but good size, I love that it's heated so a swim is possible even when the weather is cold. While the pool is technically outdoors, most part of it is sheltered, which makes it good for a swim in mid day too. Note that it's closed during certain hours in the day for cleaning. The breakfast is a good spread, including a live local noodles station. The staff are friendly and full of smiles, from the gentlemen at the doors, the front desk, to the concierge and housekeeping lady. I appreciate that they noted my preferences and assigned a room that matched it. Overall I enjoyed my stay and will be happy to stay here again if I needed to be in this area.

I stayed on the 12th floor, and overall, the room was quite good – spacious, clean, and minimalist, similar to Atour or Hanting hotels on the mainland. I originally booked a Deluxe River View room for the scenery, but unfortunately, there was ongoing construction by the river, leading to noise in the mornings. So, I wouldn't recommend it; for now, don't specifically book this room type for the river view! Hong Kong has strict environmental policies, so there's no bottled water, and the disposable slippers are very thin. For those with higher standards, I recommend bringing your own slippers! Also, I really disliked that the toilet had a blue cleaning agent in it; every time I used the restroom, it felt a bit unsettling! The hotel's location is quite convenient. The third floor connects directly to a mall, which then leads to Sha Tin Station, making public transport very accessible! Plus, the hotel offers a shuttle bus service to West Kowloon High-Speed Rail Station, though the frequency seems limited.

The room was spacious and clean, and the hotel's location was excellent. There's also a shuttle bus to West Kowloon, making it easy to access most shops I wanted to visit, except for high-end luxury brands. The kids' play area was a hit, and my child had a great time. The only minor downsides were the inconsistent front desk staff – some were very friendly, others quite perfunctory – and the strict 3 PM check-in time, which wasn't ideal when traveling with children.

We booked the family suite, which included breakfast for the whole family. The breakfast selection was extensive and the food was good. You just take the elevator down to the third floor, cross the skywalk, and you're at the New Town Plaza in Sha Tin, making shopping and taking the MTR incredibly convenient. All the room amenities were B.Duck themed, and my child absolutely loved it. We'll definitely stay here again if we get the chance! 👍

The room is very spacious, and the twin-bed room was incredibly comfortable, perfect for families. The hotel is exceptionally clean, and the concierge service in the lobby was excellent. As a hotel professional with over 10 years of experience, I'd rate this hotel 4-5 stars; both the facilities and service are top-notch! The location is also superb, easily found right outside Sha Tin MTR station. I'll definitely prioritize this hotel next time I visit Hong Kong.

The room was clean, spacious, and bright. The hotel's location is super convenient, with plenty of shopping and dining options nearby. Transportation is also a breeze, with easy access to trains, buses, and taxis. The buffet and Chinese restaurant within the hotel were also excellent. I've stayed here several times already and will definitely book again. Thumbs up!

This was my second stay at the Royal Park Hotel in Sha Tin, Hong Kong 🇭🇰. We booked a family room for 3 consecutive nights. It's incredibly convenient to get to – after clearing customs at West Kowloon, it's just a 6-stop subway ride away. The hotel is right next to Phase 3 of New Town Plaza, making dining, living, and shopping exceptionally easy. We visited right after the Chinese New Year Golden Week, so there were fewer crowds, and the festive atmosphere was still vibrant. The hotel facilities are well-maintained, and the rooms are bright and spotless. The staff were all very polite and helpful. I'm already looking forward to staying here again!

Every time I visit Hong Kong, I choose to stay at the Royal Park Hotel. It's conveniently located right above Sha Tin MTR station, with plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby. The hotel's decor and facilities are relatively new, the service is excellent, and it's very quiet as it's surrounded by residential areas.

The room was as described earlier. On my last day, I enjoyed the hotel breakfast, which had a great variety and tasted delicious – I was very satisfied. All the hotel staff had excellent service attitudes, including the front desk, the cleaning staff, and several service personnel in the lobby. They were all friendly and enthusiastic towards us. Thank you!
