Hotel Purple Hong Kong

The hotel's location is pretty good, near Tin Hau MTR station. There are a lot of great food options downstairs, and the tram stop is right outside. The only downside is that the prices are quite high during Chinese New Year; it might be more affordable if you visit on a regular weekday.

The room was very clean and the toiletries were great. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the subway exit. It's also very close to Victoria Park, and there are many famous snack bars nearby. The front desk and staff were all very warm, friendly, and professional. The 24-hour gym downstairs is particularly good. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip.

The bath towels were so frayed they looked like tassels. Other than that, everything else was just okay, nothing special. However, when I asked about the late check-out until 3 PM, they were evasive and wouldn't confirm if it was possible. On the day of check-out, I called the front desk to confirm, and they told me that checking out after 12:30 PM would incur a fee. So, which statement is true, Ctrip's or the hotel's? In the end, I had an unexpected period and stained the sheets and duvet cover, costing me a 500 cleaning fee. I stored my luggage for half an hour, and they gave me a small card saying it was 50 per item. I was genuinely worried they'd charge me again (but they didn't in the end). Regarding the "Extended stay enjoy late check-out until 3 PM (subject to room availability)" advertised: If checking out after 12:30 PM incurs a fee, then I really think they shouldn't mislead guests by advertising late check-out until 3 PM as a special feature.

Very clean and conveniently located close to the subway station. The price was reasonable, and the front desk staff were friendly.

The room size is quite spacious for Hong Kong standards, and you can even lie down on the window sill. It's also not far from the MTR station and offers good value for money.
