The hotel's location is excellent, situated in a quieter area of Tsim Sha Tsui East with less foot and vehicle traffic, unlike the more crowded popular areas in Kowloon. It's about a five to six-minute walk to Exit P of Tsim Sha Tsui East Station, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby, making it suitable for guests who prefer a peaceful stay. The downside is the large number of guests on weekends. When we arrived around 4 PM, there were several long queues at the front desk, and checking in took a considerable amount of time. The hotel elevators also sometimes had long waits, so the experience during peak hours was just average. Since the hotel is over forty years old, the hardware and decor naturally can't compare to newer hotels in mainland China. Although we were upgraded to a larger family room with two beds approximately 1.5 meters wide, the overall impression is still a bit dated. It would be more objective to appropriately lower expectations regarding the newness of the facilities before checking in.

The location is fantastic, just a short walk across a skybridge to Victoria Harbour, and it's also very close to the MTR station. The front desk staff were very friendly and proactively asked about our needs, even offering suggestions for our travel itinerary.

We had a perfect stay at Regal Kowloon Hotel! The location is excellent, close to East TST MTR Station, bus stops, Mody Road, K11 MUSEA, the waterfront, Star Ferry, and plenty of restaurants and shops. Very convenient for getting around Hong Kong. The room was comfortable, and the overall stay was great. Highly recommended!

I'm not someone with overly exaggerated demands for a hotel... as long as there are no bugs or crumbs, and it's not super dirty, I'm fine with it. This time I booked a premium room, and when I checked in, the front desk said it wasn't available and upgraded me to a deluxe room. But when I got to the room with the key card, it felt no different from a premium room, or rather, it *was* a premium room... I don't understand. The bathroom and everything else were okay, though the bathtub mat was indeed a bit dirty. The facilities are quite old, as it's an older hotel. This time I was there for a concert, and both rooms next to me were occupied mostly by young women. It was very quiet at night; everyone was well-behaved and civilized. The window was sealed shut, but when I drew back the curtains, I could see the sea, which was pretty nice. I slept quite well.

The location of this hotel is within 3-5 minutes walk from Tsim Sha Tsui East station and is within 10-15 minutes walk from Hung Hom station, where some concerts held. If you are going for a concert, its location is superb. However it is probably the only good point. The hotel is dated. Our room wallpaper is peeling off with mold ( see picture ). We asked to change our room and they do allow us to change it. However I have seen many rooms having peeling off wallpaper. Eventually we settle one without this issue. Some front desk staff cannot speak good English. Come on, HK is an international city and Tsim Sha Tsui is a tourist gathering location. I do expect a bit more from this hotel. Unlike the hotels we stayed in mainland China, this hotel does not provide laundry facility. Also if you booked this hotel via trip.com , their airport shuttle bus is not included. You have to pay extra for this service or take a bus yourself. Maybe my expectation of HK hotel is slightly high. But no matter what the reason is, I won't stay in this hotel again.

Great location, but the room was a bit stuffy due to the carpet. The hairdryer was really old; it barely blew any air and only worked for about 2 minutes.
