The room size was acceptable, neither too big nor too small. The hotel rooms were very clean, and the back exit led directly to Chungking Mansions. It's also a convenient 10-minute walk to Victoria Harbour. It's only a 5-minute walk to The Mira and Kowloon Park. However, the hotel service was absolutely awful. The front desk staff were rude even before check-in. When checking out, my elderly companion had blistered feet, and I asked for a pair of slippers. They told me to call housekeeping from my room, even though I was already checking out and wasn't informed about slippers during check-in. I then waited in the lobby for 20 minutes, and after asking the front desk three times, they still hadn't made a single call to housekeeping. Finally, I had to yell at the front desk, "Does it take this long to get a pair of slippers? What kind of service is this? Don't you even look at the guest's membership level?" I got them two minutes later. I expected some poor attitudes in Hong Kong, but I never imagined the service standards at an InterContinental chain would be this bad! 😧

The bedding in the room was a bit scratchy and felt a little damp. However, the hotel's location is excellent, and considering the price, it's still good value for money. The hotel's decor, including the front desk, has that classic, established star-rated hotel feel – a bit old, but definitely not run down.

Pretty good, convenient for shopping nearby, especially since Jenny Bakery is just downstairs. I only waited 20 minutes to get the cookies. Wing Lung Bank is also close by, and it's only a ten-minute walk to Harbour City. In the morning, it was great to take the MTR two stops to Central and hike up Victoria Peak. It's also super close to the MTR station.

I used to stay at Holiday Inn frequently, but my recent stay was a complete disaster. We checked in very late, and they assigned us a disabled-friendly room without informing us beforehand. To make matters worse, both bedside outlets in the room were not working. We asked the hotel for an adapter, but only one outlet could actually charge our devices.

Excellent location. The staff at the hotel were very helpful, which I really appreciated. The only downside was that some of the facilities were a bit old. The air conditioning was very noisy.

Excellent location with great convenience nearby. It pretty much solved all the issues we had during our trip. There were plenty of food options, and it was easy to buy local specialties. Cookies and Ichiran Ramen were just around the corner. It's also near the MTR station, making it very convenient to get to Disneyland and Ocean Park. We could even walk to see the Victoria Harbour night view and Harbour City.

The room was clean and a good size. The family room had a large bed, which was great for traveling with kids. It's also super convenient for getting around! The downstairs restaurant serves authentic and delicious Cantonese cuisine. It's only a few minutes' walk to Victoria Harbour, and there's a subway station not far from the entrance.
