I'm a monthly tenant here. I accidentally burned my ID on the induction cooktop, filling the entire room with a plastic smell. So, I quickly booked a one-night stay here. I booked a newly renovated room, hoping to try out their new accommodations. Unfortunately, it was a bit disappointing. I thought the new room would be more comfortable than the old ones. But honestly, new isn't always better; the old rooms are actually more comfortable. As a tenant in an old-style, monthly rental room on the 19th floor with a sea view, it's far more comfortable than the new rooms. Why? Because the new renovation smell is still present. The hallway carpet has a strong, unpleasant post-renovation odor, an indescribable smell. Opening the room, there was a strong glue smell from the renovation that still lingers. When I showered, I noticed some glue residue on the showerhead handle, which I had to scrub off my hands repeatedly with hand soap. I'd say the hygiene is just average. Although it seemed clean on the surface after the renovation, there was still a lot of dust, for instance, on a shelf above the toilet. The shower water pressure was strong, but sadly, the shower handle had a lot of glue on it. And throughout my shower, I kept smelling glue, which was very unpleasant. So, I don't recommend anyone stay in the new rooms. While the room is spacious and has an open view, the renovation workmanship isn't great. This renovation is essentially a copy of the Alexandra Hotel in Fortress Hill. The wooden materials and wall panels are identical, even the bed frame design is the same. It's truly the same group, using the same materials. Basically, the wood materials aren't very good, and the whole room just reeks of plastic. Overall, I can only describe this historic hotel as 'okay'.

The room itself was decent, nothing spectacular. As it's an older hotel, some of the facilities are a bit dated. For example, there aren't any USB charging ports, so you'll need to bring your own adapter and charger. However, the location is absolutely fantastic! It's incredibly close to the subway station. If you're looking to visit North Point Fire Station or the ICAC for a photo op, I highly recommend staying here – it's an unbelievably short walk away. The room size was also quite comfortable. All the hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It's also super convenient for getting to concerts at Kai Tak via the subway, which is a quick ride.

The room arrangement was excellent, and the hotel was very clean. Opening the curtains revealed a beautiful mountain view. The air conditioning was comfortable, and the room was tidy overall. The hotel's service was also very good. I saw many different lunch offers at the restaurant in the lobby, which I hope to try next time. Downstairs from the hotel, there are plenty of buses and trams, and two subway stations are just 7 to 10 minutes away, which was very convenient for us. There are also many tea restaurants and takeout places nearby.

Business Trip The hotel boasts an excellent location with plenty of dining options and convenient transportation nearby. The room was bright and well-lit, and the desk and chair were comfortable, making it perfect for work with fast and stable internet. The room was clean and hygienic, and the bedding was comfortable, which really helped alleviate the fatigue of a long day of business travel. The front desk service was quick and efficient. Highly satisfied.

The hotel has a Y2K vibe, and while the facilities show their age, they are still clean and tidy. The microwave or stove in the room didn't work, but the fridge and kettle did. Since the hotel doesn't provide disposable amenities, remember to bring your own slippers, toothbrush, toothpaste, shower cap, comb, etc., otherwise you'll have to buy them at the hotel. If you're particular about shampoo, bring your own shampoo and conditioner, as the bathroom only offers an all-in-one body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. There's no complimentary bottled water either, so you'll need to buy that yourself. In short, guest room amenities are almost non-existent. The hotel's location is excellent; the A12 bus can take you directly from the airport or the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge, and there's Quarry Bay MTR station, trams, and bus stops right outside. The convenience store downstairs is a bit far, so it's advisable to buy what you need before returning to the hotel; you have to go outside to smoke. Overall, it offers good value for money.

Getting a room with a pool view was great, but then I saw a mouse run by the pool. The pool closes at 7 PM, so it's hard for me to make it after work. Trip.com and the reservations department were slow to communicate; when I arrived, they said I hadn't booked a hotel. Plus, the hotel is next to a funeral home.

Booked a last-minute one-night stay with my wife. The price was great, and the location was super convenient. Check-in was quick and easy. We even got a room on a floor facing Victoria Harbour! For just over $300, it was amazing!

My adult son and I absolutely loved this hotel! We're so glad we read the reviews. The location is genuinely convenient, on a lively street near the bridge leading to the embankment, and right opposite a metro station! Our room was cleaned thoroughly every day. There's a restaurant downstairs, but it's not cheap, so we ate out in the city. The pool is on the 3rd floor; it was often closed due to strong winds, which was announced as a safety precaution. The view from our 20th-floor window was excellent! Plenty of elevators and a responsive front desk. But the main advantage is definitely the location. There are many tram lines nearby, a 7-Eleven, and an ATM not far away. Plus, there's a sushi stand with delicious sushi! The price for a week's stay was also satisfactory!

I had a wonderful trip. The staff was helpful and efficient. I received an upgrade to the 29th floor with a bathtub. I highly recommend this hotel.

I was upgraded to a better room than I originally booked, so I was happy from the moment I checked in. The hotel is very close to bus stops and subway stations, making transportation incredibly convenient. While there aren't many restaurants or shopping centers right in the immediate vicinity, if you travel about 10-15 minutes, you'll find a variety of multi-complex areas. The hotel view was also excellent.

Front desk staff Eva and Ray upgraded us to a suite. The environment was comfortable, and they have a pool and a gym. The room was clean, and the service was excellent. Definitely the best choice among 4-star hotels in the Hong Kong area.

The location is great, 2 minutes walk from Quarry Bay MTR station. The room size was good. Service was good. The hotel is bite aged.

The hotel's location is good, close to the subway. The room size is appropriate for the price, and there's a pool outside the window where you can watch guests leisurely swim. It's a shame there's no sofa chair in the room, only a standard four-legged chair.
