Hong Kong Gold Coast Hotel

The hotel's setting is quite good; it's probably hard to find a resort-style hotel in Hong Kong at such an affordable price. The surroundings are beautiful and well-maintained, and the kids had a great time swimming and playing on the beach. However, the rooms are a bit old and not very spacious, and the facilities are somewhat outdated. The hotel staff were all friendly, polite, and helpful. If you're looking for a family beach holiday in Hong Kong, this hotel is quite suitable. The nearby Gold Coast Piazza makes dining convenient, and there's also a supermarket and several convenience stores.

The overall environment was very comfortable, and the room was spacious enough. The kids had a blast at the hotel pool. We couldn't go to the beach this time because of the scorching heat. There's a plaza about a five-minute walk away with several restaurants, and there's a supermarket on the second floor. You can even order takeout until 8 PM, which is quite convenient.

Lots of facilities for kids, which they really enjoyed. The only downside is that it's a bit old, but still reasonably clean. My children had a great time!

The hotel room facilities are quite old. The hotel's location is a bit inconvenient, and there's no free shuttle bus. The hotel pool is very spacious and well-equipped, but unfortunately, the opening hours are very short. The buffet breakfast offers a rich variety of dishes, but it only goes until 10:30 AM.

Convenient location and very clean. I booked a sea-view room and had a very comfortable stay. I'll definitely come back next time. It's an older hotel, but it's well-maintained. I didn't have breakfast at the hotel, opting to eat nearby instead.

Our annual go-to hotel, mainly for a relaxing getaway that doesn't require crossing borders. The beautiful surroundings and excellent pool are incredibly satisfying. It's a shame, though, that the in-room facilities are starting to show their age and are a bit lacking.

My friend lives nearby, so I chose this hotel. It's very well-maintained, and the staff are friendly. There's also a shopping mall next door. It's great value for money and I'd definitely come back. Highly recommend!

Great for all ages, you could spend all day at the hotel without getting bored. Outdoor Pool Area There are multiple outdoor free-form pools, complete with water slides and a shallow area for children. Surrounded by coconut groves and lush greenery, there are plenty of lounge chairs. It’s not crowded, even with many people, and the opening hours are long. Swimming in the evening with the sea breeze is an excellent experience. The pool area provides complimentary towels and children's life vests, and the changing rooms are well-equipped.

The hotel has a long history but has been renovated in recent years, so the environment is decent. My only real complaint is about the room itself. The desk area could use a bit more cleaning as there was some dust. Also, the shower amenities, perhaps a packaging change would be better as they were a bit difficult to get out.
