Nap Hella Inn

Pros: • Super cheap • Great location Cons: • Thin pad on hard wooden board → feels like sleeping on plywood, very uncomfortable • Tiny bugs found on the bedsheet • Persistent foot odor inside unit • Noise easily travels: heard people chatting at night despite “no talking” rule • Common area gets extremely loud during meals (loud Tagalog conversations) • Wi-Fi occasionally cuts out completely Sleep quality was terrible due to the hard surface and bugs. Everything else is bearable if you’re just crashing for a short time and have very low expectations.

(1) The slogan is something like “future living,” but the location there don't even match the past. Many service provider in Asia post photoshopped images, and the true situation is different. The pictures speak for themselves. (2) The location is a 2-room apartment, not more, not less. Everything they offer as Nap Hella Inn at trip.com does not exist there—only the 2 capsule rooms, which means they are also deceiving trip.com. The rooms are 20 m² each (measured) and there are 12 beds per room in the form of capsules. That means 24 guests in a 2-room apartment. Two air conditioners per room and a ventilator in the capsule hanging (why would somebody need 2 air conditioners and a ventilator in each capsule in a 20 m2 room? You can guess the answer yourself) and no windows—there are no windows in the entire apartment—fresh air? Not a chance! (3) There are no free lockers, so people understandably put their suitcases in the living room because they don't want to pay the extra 35 HKD for a locker. Just imagine the chaos that ensues when guests want to change their clothes. (4) There are two women who live there each in one of the rooms and make the cleaning. Either they run the whole thing or they live for free and make the cleaning – either way! (5) This simply cannot be legal! In no country in the world should 24 guests stay in a 2-room apartment under this curcumstances and pay over 300 HKD/ night – trip.com should not support this by listing it there. After all this, it's not even comfortable to sleep there - take a look how thin the mattress is in one of the pictures (if that's even a mattress). (6) I thought trip.com had conditions for listing properties. Only those who run a fair business should be supported!

The worker was genuinely kind and incredibly helpful. The facilities, however, were subpar. There was only one proper accessible shower, and the other required walking through a toilet area - meaning anyone using the toilet could access the shower. Space was extremely tight overall, so it’s not ideal for anyone who values comfortable room to shower or do anything that requires a bathroom. Very very tight space in the bathroom area, however they provided free toothbrushes and earplugs. The lobby and rooms were well set up with head towels and clean blankets in the bedroom, and the Japanese-style lobby was a pleasant touch. The lockers were secure with keypad access. I do recommend this if you intend to stay for one night as there’s a convenience store below, easy access to the MRT, very close proximity to the water front, and a Starbucks within 5 minutes walk.

Cleanliness was nonexistent. The AC in the room was dripping water directly at the bedroom door, leaving the area wet. The mattress is practically nonexistent, also it's dirty and clearly not sanitized. Overall, it was a terrible experience and I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Absolutely, horrible place I would never stay there again. I would rather just ***********… The place seems like it’s filled with criminals as well..
