Oasis Aurum 181 Hotel

Out of the four hotels I stayed at during my 6-day, 5-night trip to Hong Kong, this one was by far the best. It's conveniently located with spacious rooms and excellent facilities, including a gym and self-service laundry. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and getting around is a breeze. It's a fantastic choice for travelers who prioritize experiences and good food over luxury shopping.

Located in Sai Wan, West Island, close to the University of Hong Kong, this hotel is ideal for visitors to the university. Transportation is incredibly convenient: just around the corner is a tram stop, and the MTR is within walking distance. A scenic 20-minute walk along the coast and through unique neighborhoods will get you to the Kennedy Town attractions. Right outside, you'll find standard budget-friendly chain restaurants like Cafe de Coral, as well as Hong Kong-style diners, making it easy to grab a quick meal. The rooms are well-maintained and clean, offering sea views. The hotel also features a fitness area and a self-service laundry room, making it perfect for travelers on a moderate budget who prioritize convenient transportation and local charm. Although the lobby is on the second floor, there's a comfortable lounge area on the ground floor with friendly staff who are very welcoming and helpful, especially with Mandarin speakers.👍

Extremely satisfied! The hotel staff were incredibly warm and responsible. The environment was lovely, and waking up to a sea view every day really brightened my mood. My child and I both absolutely loved it; the front desk and room service were exceptionally heartwarming. ❤️

The hotel lobby was a bit out of the way and hard to find. After a smooth check-in, the service was excellent. The sea-view room offered expansive views, which is its biggest draw. The room was also relatively spacious. We even experienced a typhoon, which added a unique flavor to our stay!

The sea view outside the window is incredibly soothing. The room is spacious and very clean, and the service is attentive. However, the disposable amenities in the bathroom are a bit scarce, lacking items like a shower cap, comb, or vanity kit. This is a minor issue.

This is my third stay here. It's incredibly close to the University of Hong Kong, and the surrounding area has excellent amenities, including supermarkets and plenty of restaurants. There's also parking nearby, and the MTR station is very close.

The room is spacious, the views are beautiful, and the service is excellent. They also have self-service laundry and a fantastic gym. I'll definitely stay here every time I visit Hong Kong.
