The location is perfect – it's right next to the MTR and all of Kowloon's attractions are within walking distance. The building itself and the abundance of foreigners might be a little daunting at first, but overall, it's safe – there are a lot of CCTV cameras for that reason. It's important to note that the place is very distinctive. The entrance is through commercial spaces, and hostels share floors with residential apartments – you'll see local residents' laundry drying in the corridors. There's a good currency exchange on the ground floor. The room has towels, clean bedding, and good hot water pressure. Considering the price-to-quality ratio, I think you get even more than you pay for.
