Hillwood House Hotel

The location is super convenient, it's really quick to get to Victoria Harbour and all sorts of places. It's only about 200 meters from the MTR station, just a short walk away. For Hong Kong, this hotel offers excellent value for money. The front desk staff were also very friendly.

This was by far the worst hotel stay I've had on a recent trip. I booked it after seeing a blogger's review on social media. The location is decent, very convenient for getting around, and the price isn't overly expensive, but not cheap either. The room itself was tiny, barely enough space to open one suitcase. It was just right for one person, but definitely cramped for two. The first night was okay, but on the second night, I realized how utterly lacking in soundproofing the room was. I had inconsiderate guests next door who were talking late into the night. When they finally stopped, their snoring started, and it sounded like they were sleeping right next to me. It went on all night, and I barely got any sleep. I honestly admire how the lady sleeping next to them managed to get used to it. I will definitely not be staying at this hotel again. If you're on a tight budget and are a heavy sleeper, then maybe consider this place, but I'm certainly not coming back!
