The shower pressure was good, but the water never got hot; it was only cold, which made it uncomfortable. I didn't have time to eat, but I'd like to try the food if I have the chance to stay again.

I specifically booked this hotel near the airport for an overnight layover, and my two stays couldn't have been more different. Here's a heads-up for anyone else with a layover. On the outbound journey, we got incredibly lucky. The hotel directly upgraded us to a large suite for free. The room was spacious. Although the decor felt a bit dated, it was very clean, making for a comfortable stay – perfect for a relaxing night during a layover. To my surprise, the return stay was a huge downgrade. The room we were assigned had a persistent strange smell, a mix of cigarette smoke and a damp, sewer-like odor. The ventilation wasn't great either, so the smell lingered all night. I barely slept, which really affected my energy for the next day. In summary: The location is ideal for an overnight layover, and sometimes you might get a room upgrade. However, the quality control of the rooms is inconsistent, and the odor issue seems to be a matter of luck. If you're sensitive to strange smells or a light sleeper, I'd advise caution before choosing this hotel.

The free shuttle bus to the concert venue was good. The only thing was the pillows had a strange smell, but everything else was fine. The breakfast wasn't tasty.

This hotel is super convenient for connecting flights or if you're flying out. It's only a 5-minute drive from Terminal 2, and there are frequent free shuttle buses to and from the airport and Tung Chung. Even though there's no mall nearby, they have vending machines with snacks and drinks, plus self-service laundry facilities.

The hotel offers great value for money, and the rooms are tidy and clean. It has facilities like an outdoor pool and a gym. However, the hotel's location is a bit remote, requiring a shuttle bus to get to the hotel or Tung Chung Station, making trips to the city center take a bit longer.
