Halepuna Waikiki by Halekulani

The moment I walked into the room, the ocean view came right into sight—such an amazing location! You can just ask for amenities at the front desk and they'll bring them right up to your room. Plus, having brand new slippers in the room was a nice touch.

Fantastic hotel! The rooms are clean and the facilities are excellent. We stayed in a sea-view room, and the view was absolutely stunning. The room had a kettle and also a convenient cold water pitcher that you could take out to refill. The infinity pool offers beautiful sea views. The location is also superb; you can reach the beach by walking through a small alley, and it's only a 5-minute walk to various tour pickup points. There are many restaurants and ABC Stores nearby. The hotel also has its own bakery next door, which is very popular and delicious. Breakfast is served as a set menu and tastes great, though the waiting time can be a bit long.

Super clean hotel. Beautiful room with thick, white towels and clean, white bedding. Excellent quality. There's a water dispenser on the 8th floor where you can refill water bottles. Nice toiletries in large containers in the bathroom. Iron and ironing board available. Beautiful area, right in the city center with a great city view. Downstairs, there's the Halekulani cafe with delicious pastries and coffee.

Aside from being a bit small, everything else was perfect. The room was brand new, and the fact that there's no resort fee already makes it better than many hotels in Waikiki. The bakery downstairs is delicious, I recommend going early to avoid the queue.

I carefully chose this hotel before my trip, and the overall environment is great. It's very close to the sea, just a short walk to the beach. Since I like to sleep in, I didn't book breakfast, so I can't comment on that.

The beach is close by, and it's right next to the Sheraton, so the bus tour meeting point was only a 30-second walk away, which was super convenient! We also got cute slippers and a water bottle, so overall, I was very satisfied!

This is a beautiful and spacious hotel, and I stayed for three nights. One unique feature is that the rooms provide individual branded water bottles (resembling thermoses) that guests need to fill themselves. There are special built-in water dispensers on the 1st and 8th floors. Also on the 8th floor, there's a laundry room, costing $4.50 per wash or dry cycle, which is very convenient! However, you can't buy laundry pods there; you need to bring your own. On the same floor, there's a garden – an exit to a spacious balcony with plants and seating areas. And, of course, an infinity pool. Sun loungers are next to the pool, and towels are provided right there. There's also a bar by the pool. The rooms are spacious, with panoramic windows and automatic blackout curtains. There's a coffee machine and a kettle (capsules and tea bags are also provided). For the beach, the hotel provides branded bags with towels, which can be exchanged daily. Getting to the beach isn't so much far as it is a bit of a walk, about 9-10 minutes on foot, because you have to walk around some things. There's also a bakery at the hotel, open from 6:30 AM to 11:30 AM, and there's always a long queue from the street in the mornings! I really liked the hotel – highly recommend it! ✅👍🏻

Staying in Hawaii, this hotel near Waikiki Beach and Kalakaua Avenue is beautiful and great for shopping. In Hawaii, definitely splurge on an ocean-view room – don't be stingy! At Halepuna, you get a complimentary reusable water bottle and slippers. You don't even need to bring your own toiletries; just ask, and they'll send them up. Plus, it's connected to Halekulani for breakfast, and you can charge it to your room. I have to say, Trip.com was amazing this time! My flight arrived early at just past 9 AM, and I had requested an early check-in through Trip.com the day before. By 10:30 AM, my room was already ready. The service was absolutely fantastic!
