The hotel is quite old and the room wasn’t ready even at the check-in time, which was a bit disappointing. The room itself wasn’t very clean, but I guess it matches the price. On the bright side, the location is excellent and the security feels reliable. I also loved that you can see beautiful rainbows from the area—such a nice surprise! Overall, it’s not a bad choice if you just need a convenient place to stay.

The location is good, and since I've stayed here several times, I think it's quite good compared to others. However, for Japanese guests, it would really be nice to have a bathtub where you can fill it with hot water, not just a shower, and a washlet for the toilet. If they had those, I think my rating would be much closer to excellent. Also, since I use a rental car, I know the weaker yen and rising prices might make it unavoidable, but the guest parking fee was around $15 before, and now it's $50 a day, which feels a bit steep. Regarding washlets, I didn't find one when I stayed at the Hilton Rainbow Tower the year before last, so I guess their penetration rate in Hawaii is quite low.

It's a great place to cook meals with your family in the kitchen, enjoy the view from the terrace, and swim with them. And most of all, we were satisfied with the pool facilities. The kids enjoyed both the swimming and the spa.
